Who the hell is she?
That was the only thought that crossed my mind when a new, beautiful and thin girl walk up the ladders to the ship. Her smile shined all over the ship and everyone greeted her.
"She looks nice."
I turned around and saw Jim, my only friend who also happens to be my crush.
"Not that nice.." I muttered. "Look at her eyes.. they're.."
I froze.
Nope. She was perfect.
I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Would you introduce me to her?" He asked.
"Why don't you just go yourself?"
"Because that's totally awkward. Just do it. Please?"
I sighed and he dragged me over to her. She smiled as she saw us. I already hated her. Even her teeth were shining white and not one tooth were crooked.
"Hi!" She greeted us. "I'm new here-"
"We know," I interrupted cold. "I'm (Y/N) and this is Jim."
Jim shook her hand, but I didn't.
"Nice to meet you two! I'm Lorie."
Jim suddenly asked her if she would like a tour around the ship. They asked if I would like to go with them, but I said no.
"I'd rather help Silver in the kitchen," I said.
"Okay, I'll see you in a bit then," he said.
He grabbed Lories hand and they walked away. I watched as they walked over to the other side of the deck. Smiling, talking, laughing.

"That stupid skank!" I cursed and cut a cucumber. "Who does she think she is?!"
Silver looked terrified at me.
"You better watch out you don't cur your finger instead of that cucumber."
"I don't care!"
"What's wrong today?" He asked concerned.
"That new girl has been all over Jim today.. I mean, did you see her at dinner?!"
"No? What did she do?"
"She literally HUNG over him. Laughed at his stupid, not funny jokes! Smiled like a perfect little princess and ignored the hell out of me!"
Silver chuckled.
"Being young now a days.."
"It's not funny Silver! As I said, she's stealing Jim away from me- oh.."
Silver looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"And why do you feel like that?" He smirked.
"It's not what you think!" I squealed and threw the cucumber away. "It's.. nothing at all.."
He dried his hands in his apron and held my shoulders while staring into my eyes.
"(Y/N).. I know what you're thinking, but he obviously doesn't know how you feel.."
"Feel? I don't feel anything!"
"Stop lying to yourself," he chuckled and shook his head. "I've been in love before. I know how you feel."
"You have?" I asked surprised.
"Yes of course!"
"Wow.. what did you do?"
"I told her how I felt.."
"What did she say?"
"Nothing.. she died the day after."
"What?!"
He bursted out laughing and clapped his knees.
"I was kidding! No no.." he dried his eye. "We became a couple for a couple of months and then.. it didn't work out."
"I'm so sorry Silver."
"You wanna know why it didn't work out?"
"Yeah.."
"Because I never really told her how I felt."
"For real..?"
"Yes. Please don't make the same mistake I did when I was young. If I just had told her everything.. I would probably have been married by now."
He looked sad at him.
"But it's fine, I like the life I have now."
I nodded.
"Please, (Y/N). Tell him how you feel. Before she really gets to him."
"Thank you Silver.."
"You're welcome."
I grabbed a carrot and stared chopping it in small pieces. I had to tell him. Tonight.

I walked up on the deck. It was cold and the wind was blowing my hair. I walked over to the edge where I saw that well known big back and the little ponytail in his neck.
"Hey," I said.
He turned around with a crooked smile.
"Well hello Miss."
I walked all the way over to him and we both stared out in the sky.
"How was your day?" I asked.
"It was great! Lorie is a fantastic person. She's super funny and-"
"That's cool."
He looked at me with furries eyebrows.
"You didn't get me out here in the middle of the night just to talk about my day? Did you?"
I sighed.
"Noooo.."
He grinned and grabbed my hand and looked at me.
"So what is it princess?"
I couldn't help it. I felt tempted. I leaned in and our lips met. I grabbed his collar and pushed him closer to me. He grabbed me around my waist and rubbed my sides. This felt so right..
Suddenly he pulled back with a confused look on his face.
"What um.. what just happened?"
"I.. I don't know.." I whispered. "I'm so sorry Jim.. I shouldn't have-"
He grabbed my cheek and pulled my face closer to his. Our lips connected for the second time. I didn't break the kiss and neither did he. He rubbed my cheek with his hand and I let my hands rest on his chest.
When he finally pulled back he looked directly into my eyes with a cocky smile.
"That's why you've been so far away from me today?" He asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't think I didn't find out. You have been so jealous the whole day. Silver told me."
"He did?!"
Jim laughed.
"But.. (Y/N).. you should've said something."
"Why?"
"Because.." He said and pulled a peace of my hair being my ear. "I've felt the same way for a very long time.."
"What? Really?"
"Yes.."
Happiness filled my body and I wanted to tell out. I smiled big. He chuckled and grabbed my cheek again.
"Now kiss me, princess.." he whispered before pulling me into another long passionate kiss.
