Today was no ordinary day. Today was the coronation of my beloved niece, Janelle. I was excited to see what her future holds for our community, sometimes I wonder if she is prepared for what comes ahead for her. As I exit the palace doors, I see her, gazing up towards the clouds and humming a soft tune. "My dear, Janelle," I began, "Art thou prepared for thee coronation?" She nods, in her response. "The power my mother has bestowed upon me has been a gift of future success. I know that it is my responsibility to become a leader to all my people." Spoken like a princess and a true warrior.

"Janelle, your passion shall gift you the power of confidence, strength, knowledge and fearlessness. Hope your power help all." I hugged her tight and walk to the edge of the borders. I think to myself, 'I wonder what it is like to ride off towards the sun, seeking new adventures, finding the strength to trust someone else, other than my people...I wouldn't know.' As I returned to my post at the palace, a group of royals came by, seeking a treat.

"Your Majesty, we have a favor to ask of you. Prince Nyxon of Shem HaMephorash has heard rumors of the desserts from the last night and was wondering who made them." My father raised a brow, "Do what do I owe the prince? Shall I shower him in desserts as he prances in his room of treasures? Answer me that, Magister." I look at him, sighing in disbelief. So I stepped before them and spoke, "I had made you the desserts with the help of all the bakers of out palace. If the Prince wishes for them to be made, that I shall get right on that." I smiled at my father and his guests. They clapped their hands at the sound of sweets.

Marching up to my room, I changed into a much more comfortable setting. As I reached the market, I came to the best place to get dessert ingredients. First, there was Pixies' Puff Shop, made freshly from scratch. "Hello, I will take of the special Puffs. Today is a very special order." Four of nine pixies smiled and handed me my order, "Of course, my Lady. That will be two sickles, please!"

Next stop, Missy's Garden Topia, the freshest fruits in all the land. Madame Missy is the best caretaker of her plants. Not one dead plants, since the war ended. She says, "Cain's Fertile Soil will stay fertile until the end of time." She is such a strong minded woman, I wonder how she manages her time, especially with all the gluttonous people swarming the market. "High Noon, Madame. I would like all these fruits at your freshest. Our kingdom has a special order of desserts for Prince Nyxon." She chortles and nods at my obedience to the Prince next door.

As I got the ingredients, I had bumped...hard...into the Prince. "Oh! Forgive me, my Lord! I was collecting the ingredients for your order. I don't mean any harm." He held my chin up, grinning, "I understand, Miss. Proceed to your duties. I shall be waiting for you to appear." She blushed, continuing to walk. As I returned to greet the ladies in the kitchen, my father stopped to speak with me.

"Hona, why make these desserts for the Prince when he has servants and bakers of his own?" I looked at him, reassuringly, "Father, we are showing that we can be resourceful. It increases our kingdon's reputation, don't you think?" He nods, and proceeds to walk to his throne room. As continued to the kitchen, the ladies greeted me with great pride, "My lady, the Prince wishes to watch you bake today. Is this alright with you?" I tilted my body and head to see the Prince, black velvet attire and all. "I wish to accompany you today, hope you don't mind."

Smiling as I constantly run around the kitchen, multitasking, the prince yawns. I thought to myself, 'Oh no, he's bored...I knew this job was a bad idea.' He taps his heeled foot on the tiled floor, impatiently. I pulled out the first three batches of blueberry, white pearl peach, and fresh autumn pumpkin tart pockets.

"My Lord, would you do the honor of testing them? I hope this is to your liking." He cuts me, mid-sentence, "There's no need, since there is six batches, I shall pack help pack them for I go back home." Well, that was insulting, he won't even test them to see if it was to HIS liking. "Yes, my Lord."

After baking and packing them, we exchanged waves and goodbyes for the day. I walked near my father's study, overhearing something exciting that still chills my bones. "I require the  assistance of a warrior to travel to other realms to take my opponents down to Hell as I rise as their superior ruler. But who will be willing to do that?"

I knocked softly on the door and he excused himself from his telephone, "Please hold," he opened the door, "What do you need, dear Hona? Is something the matter?" I breathed in and looked him firmly, "I would like to discuss the terms of this quest of yours. Whatever will help you become successful in your superiority." Astonishment and bewilderment filled the shape of my father's face expression. "My dear, this is a dangerous mission, what can you possibly learning from this?" Smiling, I spoke with great pride, "Mother once told me that I should never skip opportunities that have been offered as a choice. The things I could learn from it would be to learn what customs follow the alliances and strangers who will help me."

He nods in agreement, "If that is what your future holds for you, then you shall pack whatever you need for your expedition. I shall gift you the one item that allows you to travel to these realms to bring one person from each to build the alliance together. Can you do that?" "Yes, Father."

This has been a good run in the palace but, this was a chance to change my future. This was the day I met the alliance members. First stop, The Wild West.
