["It's the loneliest feeling not knowing who you are." - Alita: Battle Angel]
We are here, standing beyond the palace, standing before the king. I removed my helmet and proclaimed, "Fiend? Is that any way to speak to your daughter? The people before me have joined together in harmony and built an alliance to put you and those alongside in your places. These people represent those beyond our borders, those you chose not to befriend and trade valuables. Those you have shunned from our palace walls, and those you called "savages," behind their backs." My father bellowed under his breath, astonished by how I came to be, but he was not proud. "I, Honaleih Marie Antoinette Jae, Princess of the Iron Mountain, challenge you in the battle of authority, balance, and superiority. I will restore vitality in our city and imprison those who defy the alliance."
Silence fell upon our surroundings as we waited for something to happen. "Exo! Bring me my daughter. Bring me her head! No daughter of mine will turn against me as long as I am alive." Leviathan stepped in front of me, shrieking, "Nobody touches her! Alliance, form up on me! Protect Honaleih from the king! For the Iron Mountain!" I love him for that, never said it out loud in my thoughts before, until today. The king's troops charged straight towards us with rage and hatred in their eyes, like their main objective was to kill me and those you try to overthrow him. "Aw hell naw." Leviathan screeched, calling upon all the winged demons and transparent entities of the deepest mind, in this case, the demons of paralysis. "Don't worry, I won't let anyone touch you." he turned back and planted a kiss on my forehead.
Marks and Whitewood gathered their men together, guns were drawn. Reinds and Leviathan summoned the souls and ghouls beyond them, Henshaw and the tribe congregated and readied their weapons. One of the soldiers of my father's army triggered anger in Leviathan and Marks, which caused them to charge aggressively. "I never thought I'd say this, but I hate this man," Leviathan grumbled under his breath.
The howling souls swooped me up and guided me through the wind, in the direction of my father. The prince stood before him, protecting him from my basic attacks. "You will not attack him as long as I am alive. I will take the community into my hands and protect them from you, you have no idea what I am capable of. I will be the one to smite you and free these people from your grasp." Leviathan snarled beneath his breath, he scoffed. "Bitch baby." The prince snapped his neck towards the comment, "Excuse me? What was that, demon?" Leviathan and Marks stopped themselves from laughing and turned, "I called you a bitch baby. Get it? Because you are a big bitch and a crybaby with no other facial expression. When you approached Honaleih in the unexpected collision, you couldn't even tell that she was hurt. I didn't do anything to her because I want to return those affectionate feelings, you just wanted to slam those feelings back in her face. So, don't cry to me, Bitch baby." Leviathan releases his darkened wings to breathe and lifted him off the ground.
I looked up to see, getting distracted like always. But as one of the guards sneaks up towards me, his sword is drawn, Leviathan grins devilishly and says, "Nobody loves her as I do, and you will never have that chance to see that for yourself." He drops the prince on top of the trooper and they both are heavily injured. "Hona...Honaleih. Come closer...I have to tell you something..." As Leviathan landed back on the ground and Marks patted his shoulder in reverence, the prince gestured me to come closer. I was skeptical, of course, but I had to hear his statement.
"Your virgins will be ours, and your world will burn," he whispers warmly into my ear, the alliance stared at him in disgust. A tear trickled down my cheek as I took my sword and slammed it down, piercing his heart, killing him. "One down, one son of a bitch to go." Henshaw slashed the last remaining soldiers with his bamboo cutlass, Reinds and Whitewood snapped the necks of their lot, Marks, Leviathan and I gather with the alliance once more. "We face you, father. Your control over of our community will be no more. I challenge you, face our wrath."
Silence fell upon us once more, my father smirks after turning his head slowly to the object to his left. "As you wish." He flips the switch and the plasma streaks surround his body, lifting him off the ground. "All Hell is breaking loose! Honaleih, what's our command?!"
Everything went mute, I know what we have to do.
