["You don't need anyone to "complete you," you're already complete." - Eva Gutowski]
This day was absolutely perfect, the kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small. The alliance will gather around, as I'll stand upon the crown. I have never been so nervous for a battle, especially if it's up against my father. I haven't talked to the Prince since our last encounter, but the sacred witches have sent a dragon wisp to be delivered to my location. Apparently it is not just my father we will be up against, my father made amends with him and teamed up. This is not good, not only am I going up against family, I am choosing to fight against my childhood ally.
Leviathan has noticed the wisp and a cat-like instinct swarmed his mind as he clawed at it to leave me alone. "She is battling against you, whatever infatuation you had before, we will rid you of it by winning. We, the alliance want nothing to do with you." He blew a gust of his fiery breath, sending the wisp on its way. I look at him, tears swelling up on the ridge of my bottom eyelids. His temperature lowers down to embrace me, "Breathe, let your tears fall," he began, "To Tell you the truth, you were never supposed to mean this much to me. I was never supposed to fall this hard. But you know what? I did and that is the truth, that is what keeps me holding on. That's because it would hurt like hell to lose you to them." He pulls away, studying my puffy, tear stained cheeks, kissing them warmly.
"Good people like you are like candles, you burn yourself out to give us light for our way on. Honaleih, cry if it makes you feel better, and scream if it makes you feel free." He plants a soft kiss on my forehead, leaving to sleep the night off before returning to the Iron Mountain.
The next morning was the day I show my people what a real and dedicated ruler should be. Overnight when my heart felt to cry, the men had armored themselves to the point where I can recognize them by colors and strengths. The weapons were forged to match their skills, "I hope you're ready, little lady. You're the Blue Flame, our leader for life." The armor was designed to capture my figure and to match how I fight in battle. "Whitewood, you sly dog. You have done us a phenomenal job. Thank you, for serving our world a great purpose. Let us go, inward to the Iron Mountain."
Henshaw opened the portal network and something extraordinary happened as we arrived to my hometown. Reinds and Leviathan had summoned the Wax Lich and the lost souls from the river, Henshaw has brought along his tribe of warriors, Marks has brought "The Big Guns," his men of importance, and Whitewood had brought the indestructible British Bloody Backs. I smiled and closed my helmet.
As arriving to the front entrance, the extra troops had cloaked themselves to await the signal. The king walked alongside the prince in disbelief, "Halt! By order of the king, reveal yourself, fiends!"
Let the battle begin. Me against you, father.
