["Lie to me and tell me you love me." - Unknown]

As we began to ride through the bouldered path, Leviathan picked at his claws out of boredom and Marks stared out the window, deep into his thoughts. As have I, you may ask? Well, you can say that I was tending to the steeds, making sure they do not tire out from exhaustion. After all that, I look forward and back, paranoid that my father had found out that the plans have been changed and he had sent his men out to bring me home. 'That's preposterous, he wouldn't do that. Right?' I shook my head, escaping that thought out of my inner perception.

Suddenly, I could feel searing eyes, scorching the back of my head and singeing the curls in my hair. I could feel a sudden change in temperature as Leviathan calmly waltzes toward me, sitting down next to me. "How long before the war? The one between you and your father?" The atmosphere between us began to switch from calm to intense, "The moment I build trust amongst the Alliance, will be the day I have the confidence to repair the damage my father has caused and restore the vitality of the town. I will not bow to his command, I will do this for my people, nothing will change within that." I fixed my posture but his words stop me.

"Falsehood." He points out, towards the beating of my heart.

Tilting my head in confusion was a sign for him to explain, "You're not just doing it for the people, there has to be more to it. A mate? Someone, you love more than yourself?" I shook my head, "Who would want someone like me? For women in the land, you either work in the lower class or you work for the king. In this case, I'm the daughter of a corrupted king, I will make this change for everyone. Even the prince." He contorted his face in confusion, "Uh, prince?"

"Yes, Prince Nyxon of Shem HaMephorash. I've had an attraction toward him since we were kids but, he has never shown the same emotions towards me." Leviathan looks at me closely, studying me before he noticed the warm tears, welling up in my eyes. The wagon had stopped with a jolt, causing Leviathan to catch me from falling forward. "What the hell?" He snarled lowly, allowing me to peek out to see what--- "Oh no...it's the prince..." Leviathan gritted his teeth in agitation, but calmed down as soon as he heard me whisper, "Let me handle this."

I stepped out of the wagon, stood my ground to face the prince. "My lady! I was hoping I'd find you--" I cut him off angrily, "Who sent you? Tell me now." The fire in my soul bubbles furiously, Leviathan continued to glare and snarl, as Marks cautiously drew his gun. "You shouldn't be traveling with strangers, delinquents, come with me and I will return you to the palace with your father--" "My father? He sent you, didn't he?" He was taken aback from my angered expression, nodding at the question as a response.

I shouted at him, a confession and a desire. "I didn't just take this mission to please myself and my father's people, I did it for you! Because I loved you ever since we were kids, but you never saw those as feelings for you. You do not have feelings for me, I have realized that now. I will not do this mission with you in my way, I will not do this for you. I will travel with people who I will befriend, I will do this for my people and I will do this for me. Step aside, Prince Peter Nyxon of Shem HaMephorash. I wish not to continue our collided conversation. I have a mission to complete." As I finished, I returned to Leviathan and Marks, ushering them to gesture the horses into moving forward. Next stop, The Tribal Lands of Dimir.
