Chapter 14

We did it. We have defeated the prince. And my father has fallen onto his back in surrender. I have the power to show everyone how good I can be as their leader. Leviathan and Marks helped me back onto my feet and I look upon the horizon to see the sunrise once more. "Honaleih!" Janelle ran into my arms, tears running down her cheeks. "Are you hurt? That battle was intense, I assume that you were injured." I smiled at her, reassuringly. "Oh, my love. I have, what seems to be minor injuries, but I am alright. How is the town?" I asked her, glancing at the town. Everyone is safe. Everyone is free. "Everyone seems to be unharmed and anyone who was is getting the proper fix for those injuries. Are you certain that your father and Prince Nyxon are slain completely?" I sighed and nodded. "My sweet Janelle, you have nothing to fear now. We shall revitalize this community and all will be as good as new."

As I give her a reassuring hug once more, Leviathan gently put his hand upon mine and held it close to his heart. "Honaleih, might I have a word for a moment?" I never knew his voice could get that soft. As I accepted, he said, "My Savior, would you do me the honor of taking my hand in sacred matrimony?" My eyes grew larger and began to swell with tears. I questioned it for a moment but smiled, "Yes Leviathan, I would be honored to become yours for eternity." I jumped into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. The Chief and Jon Marks rejoiced with the town folk and Sir Whitewood congratulated us on this wonderful occasion.

4 years and 3 months have passed, the wedding is today and the coronation for the new heir of Nyxon's kingdom will take place after I am crowned queen. It feels unusual to be called the queen of the Iron Mountain since the last who ruled was my mother. I never expected to be in her shoes. Leviathan will rule both kingdoms, one with me and his base kingdom in his father's place. That means that he will be taking care of twice the people when he is crowned king. Wow, to be honest, what a man. I never knew I could love somebody this much until I met him.

Janelle, with her incredible strength, pressed open the door in excitement, "I hope you are ready. The Matrimonial Bells have sounded and the wedding will begin momentarily. Leviathan, the rest of the community, and our friends are right outside those doors, and beyond that aisle, will be the man who you will spend eternity with. Are you ready, Hona?" I took my deep breaths and stood up tall with confidence. "Yes. Let us get on with this wedding." I glanced out beyond the palace walls and smiled, cherry blossom petals snowed upon the walkway of the aisle.

I walked down with tears in my eyes and a smile upon my face, this is it. This is our time. "We are gathered here today to join these two saviors on this lovely day, in holy matrimony. Leviathan, Lord of Envy, do you take Honaleih Jae, Princess, and Savior of the Iron Mountain to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?" He turned to look at me through the souls of my eyes and smirked, "I do." The Preacher slowly turned to me, as he did with my mother at her wedding, "I do!" Excitedly, I kissed him first. I chuckled and hugged the life out of him and galloped into the carriage with him. Off to the coronation we go!

Everyone who went to the wedding arrived at the coronation before us, which made no sense but alright then. The kings prepared to announce the new heir to Nyxon's kingdom, it will probably be another boy, like the second king's son or something. I sighed but soon after, my ears have perked up. The 3 Sacred Kings of the Northern Mountains have announced that the new heir is Janelle, my niece. WHAT?! I was excited that my niece will have the opportunity to rule her own kingdom and protect a community where compassion and kindness are the main qualities to own within themselves.

Our world is now at peace, and it is so...beautiful.
