*Note: Okay, okay, I'm like spitting out random chapters that are shorter than the previous ones I'm used to writing. So, I don't know whether or not, I want to continue further with this book. I'll put that decision up to you guys, only because I am horrible at making decisions and I really hate that about myself. This chapter's quote comes from a song that I took a liking to after listening to it on Youtube.

I've been super busy with school and maintaining my grades these days. I'm already socially awkward, but I'm incredibly hekka awkward with asking my boyfriend for help with science and history, 2 of my least favorite subjects in high school. I just finished talking with my hardworking boyfriend as he prepares himself for his work days. P.S. He's so cute when he works hard.

Well, here you go. Go on, read the next chapter. Haha!

["The debt I owe, gotta sell my soul 'cuz I can't say no..." - Billie Eilish]

"This jeep is crowded as hell, what's the point of being in this vehicle if all of us can't even fit?" Reinds rolled his eyes as his complaint travels ear to ear, "Do you ever shut up?" Leviathan snarled deeply, gripping his claws on the arms of the passenger's seat. "Quiet, please settle down. We will never be able to get this done if we continue this bickering. We're here." As we arrived to De Franzia, Whitewood walked out to greet us with an expressionless look on his face. "Jae. Princess Honaleih Jae. What an unexpected surprise. Care to tell me what brings you to the Victorian Era?" I looked at him, seeing that he hasn't changed, "Whitewood, we are here to discuss an offer, something that I have been itching on to ask you to do, for the longest of times. But, let us discuss this inside."

As we all walked inside, our eyes adjusted to the minimalist style of interior design. Full of shades of whites, purples, light shades of brown, and grays. "You haven't changed, Jae. Nothing about your way of speech, the way you dart your eyes at something that catches them. Everything about you hasn't changed." He sat down, pouring himself a glass of Barrell Bourbon. "So, you wanted to discuss something with me? I wasn't expecting guests, so this must be important."

"I need your skills to join us in battle to put my father in his place. He is basically a dictator who cares nothing more than to see his town and his own blood under his control for eternity." He looks confused, "Please tell me more? I'm intrigued by your motive, but I need more information on what I am supposed to be fighting for." I breathed in deep, allowing my thoughts to gather up, "My father, David Pama, has become a tyrant, a dictator. A foreign came into the night and corrupted my father's mind with advanced technology." He was taken aback for my explanation, gesturing me to continue. "My father has taken to opportunity to isolate the borders for the portal networks and prevent anybody from visiting our community. In order to bring back peace to the town, we need to build an alliance to take my place as queen. In the process, I would have to restore and revitalize the heart of the Iron Mountain. I will gladly do so, but not without everybody's help. Will you join us, Kristopher?" Reinds took a look at my determination and settled down his obnoxious behavior. "Wow, now you calmed down? What a joke..." Leviathan grumbled in his mind, rolled his eyes and shaking his leg uncomfortably.

"I can finally see what kind of woman you have become. Strong, reliable, and determined young woman. I will accept your alliance recruitment, Jae." For the first time in 17 years, he smiled. This man has never smiled, due to the death of his great grandfather. He was left by his father to fend for his life and his mother died in childbirth, Vincent Whitewood was the most influential man in the Armory Bunker of the Imperial Republican Army. He produced the most advanced weapons for the troops and each time there's a war, there is always a victory.

Kristopher Whitewood has a shared skill of producing the weapons needed for the war. In this case, the war is between the alliance and the king. I refuse to call him my father, at this very moment. Leviathan and Reinds have gotten along well with Kristopher, Marks and Henshaw are not sure about him just yet. As I reopened the portal network, Leviathan took my chin in the palms of his hands and planted a soft peck of love upon my forehead. "You're even beautiful when you explain what to do with your life." I blushed softly, as he presses his forehead against mine.

"Please, allow me to provide you rooms to stay in and a full meal. Anything for my dearest friend. We can discuss further about the concept of your father's concept." We all smiled to show our hospitality and gladly accept his offer.
