" Damn you! " He grunted frustrated while he was searching for something to bind your mouth with, but couldn't find anything useful and took off his bandana around his neck, forcing it around your mouth and looped steadily at the back of your head. " I'll be back when I finish him off! " He burst out, pacing rashly to the entrance of the tent." I'm not gonna repeat again, Colm. Come here now or I will drag you out of there with my bare hands! "
Colm threw himself out with the gun ready, aiming at the man but lowered his hands when he linked up with the familiar being.
" Well, well and well. Isn't this Van der Linde's little runner? " he emphasized. " I wasn't expecting to see you here, Arthur, " opposing the unknown man now with some feet away from him.
" Guess I'm glad to see you too, Colm. "
" It has been a damn long time ago. "
" Cannot deny it, " the unknown replied, " and you have become uglier over the years. "
Colm chuckled evilly and continued.
" Mr. Morgan, a funny little charmer like you always been now haven't you? "
" Depends on how you define charming, " he answered back sarcastically, gripping his buckle with his both hands, " I ain't here spreading lovesome compliments, bring the girl and we'll be just fine. "
Colm started to laugh furiously in the air. His loud laugh reached inside the tent. Your wide opened eyes were tracing around crazed, scanning on the ground for a tool or gear to reach for. But there was nothing. Labored with pulling and wringing from side to side in hopes of breaking yourself free from the hard and skintight knot around your wrists, but there was no chance to get it untethered by yourself.
" I have no idea what ya talking about, boy? " glancing at the surroundings and the dead corps, lying listlessly everywhere on the ground. " You entered my property, slaughtered my men, threatening me about some hag I don't even know about! "
The unknown took some step forward him and looked right into his dark blue eyes.
" Give me the girl! "
Colm's facial expression became serious and defined itself clearly on his already grey and gloomy appearance.
" You don't know me so well, after all, Arthur. "
" We all know Colm. O'Driscoll by now, other than the chaotic and stupid things you generally perform, you betrayed Dutch by killing his beloved one. Oh yes, we goddamn know you well! "
" Dutch made my brother to take his last breath, boy! " He yelled, turning his back at the unknown, looking over the miserable scenery of the camp in front of him again." I was making a great parley, offering you to join our league but you declined and chose to stay with that son of a b***h after all! "
" It was a long time ago, why are you dragging this up again? "
" You don't see it, do you? I could have made you rich. Together we could have run bank robberies and plunder their fortune, in search of gold and treasures, to become rich meanwhile living as free men ... "
" It's not about the money! " The unknown interrupted.
Colm faced him again.
" Of course it is! It has always been about the greed of being rich and fortunate, receiving more and more and never get enough of it, excluding justice and serenity that are our priorities of course! Don't fool yourself, boy, you're wiser than that! "
