Chapter 1

"have you heard? have you heard of it?!" donghyuck came running towards jeno and pulled him out of the hallway. jeno who was clueless with his friend just get along with him. soon, donghyuck brought jeno to the cafe where a crowd of students gathered there, as if there's a show held at the cafe.

"dude, why did you brought me here? i have maths in like 10 minutes." jeno whined as he tried to leave the crowd but donghyuck quickly held his wrist.

"wait! watch there." donghyuck commanded and jeno did nothing but searched for the thing that grabbed everyone's attention.

soon, jeno's eyes caught an extremely beautiful girl, sitting at a chair while reading a book. everyone who were gathering at the cafe had their eyes on the same girl as jeno did. everyone seemed to fall with the girl's aura.

"jesus christ! she's gorgeous..."
"oh my! who is she?"
"she's pretty but she had this kind of cold gazes that i kinda dislike."
"i'm gonna put her in my want-to-be-couple list."
"great! another pretty girl that all boys drooling over with."

"ok, enough with the staring. let's send you to maths." donghyuck grabbed jeno away from the crowd thus made jeno snapped in reality. jeno took one last glance at the girl and to his surprise, he made eye contact with her.

on the way to their locker, jeno asked donghyuck about the girl but the answer didn't satisfied him at all. "do you think i'm involved with the school registration? how am i supposed to know about that girl? silly." donghyuck mocked as he grabbed his physical education books and shut his locker.

"after school, 6 pm. don't be late or else renjun will choke you." donghyuck said to jeno as he patted him on the shoulder and ran to his class before it was too late.

jeno bit his lips and smacked his head a few times. why he kept thinking about the girl earlier?

"shoot! i was late!" with all his might, jeno ran as fast as he could to the recreation park, the place where he promised his friends to gather at 6 o'clock only if jeno didn't stuck helping his mother to wash a pile of dirty dishes.

the park already in jeno's sight, jeno took a glance at his watch which showed 6.06 pm. as he was running while looking at his watch, he accidentally crashed into someone. both person fell on the ground and jeno accidentally scratched himself .

"i'm so sorry. are you alright?" a hand offered to help jeno and he reached for the hand without thinking twice.

as he met eyes with the person whom collided with him, he realised that it's the new-hot-issue girl from his high school. she wore a sun hat that practically covered her from the sunlight but jeno can still see her beautiful face. mesmerised by the girl's beauty, jeno didn't hear anything as if the time stop around him.

he snapped and slightly jump when he felt the girl touched his hand. "your palm is bleeding. you need a treatment so it won't get affected by bacteria." the girl said in her soft voice.

"erm i'm in a hurry so i'll get the treatment later. thanks tho." jeno bowed and about to sprint off before the girl caught his wrist.

"your friends can wait. your health is your priority." the girl said, still holding jeno's wrist.

jeno was shocked at first but he shrugged it off and followed the girl to a nearby bench. they sat there while the girl treated jeno's wound. none of them were speaking making the atmosphere really really awkward.

the treatment began with the girl wiping the wound few times to clean it. then, all her movements suddenly stop. jeno was curious so he looked at the girl with the corner of his eyes. he found the girl was staring. staring at his blood at the tissue.

"hey.... what's wrong?" after few times calling the girl, her soul finally returned to her body. she tossed the tissue away and smiled sweetly at jeno. "i'm sorry. you said anything?" she asked but jeno answered with a no.

"yah! lee jeno!"

both jeno and the girl turned to the direction of the voice. the voice belongs to donghyuck. he was walking towards jeno with two other guy known as jaemin and renjun.

"oh my! we're sorry for interrupting.... whatever things you guys are doing right now." jaemin apologised with a cheeky smile plastered on his face. jeno rolled his eyes and pulled his hand as soon as the girl put a plaster on his palm.

"he hurt himself and need a treatment. i hope you won't be angry at him." the girl said as she bowed politely. the boys bowed back and thanked her for treating jeno.

"by the way i'm jeno. this is donghyuck, jaemin and renjun. what's your name?" jeno asked as he introduced himself and his friends to the girl. the girl replied with a smile.

"bora. kim bora."
