Chapter 11

"this is nuts! i'm like those nurses at out school!" renjun squealed happily as he look at the syringe that was full with jeno's fresh blood. he passed the syringe to bora and grinned.

"here's your meals."

bora smiled and took it happily. she looked at the delicious red looking blood and cannot wait to drink it. jeno eyed her and smiled as he saw how happy she was.

"is that enough?" jeno asked as the girl nodded.

"it's more than enough."

jaemin scoffed as he stood up and walked to the door, stomping his feet. "sure, if she ask for more don't bother to ask from us."

and the door was slammed.

"what's up with him? he's being salty since this morning." renjun asked but bora and jeno just shrugged.

"maybe you guys should go after him. i'll be fine here. besides, you guys don't want to witness me drinking this right?" she said and both jeno and renjun nodded before they ran after jaemin.

"jaemin wait!" jeno yelled as he saw jaemin walking in the dark alone. jaemin turned around and saw jeno and renjun running towards him.

they stopped in front of him while panting. it's actually made jaemin felt bad cause the last thing he would do was making them worried. he didn't know what had gotten into himself lately.

"i know you're still angry at me but you should not stormed off like that! besides, it's dangerous to walk alone at night!" jeno exclaimed as he looked at jaemin, completely worried.

jeno had a good point but jaemin can't help but to feel like a complete jerk towards his friends.

"i'm sorry... i just—"

"jae, get over from bora being a vampire. we all feels okay being with her. hyuck also didn't mind." renjun cut him off but jaemin just sighed. bora's not the problem, it's him.

just when jaemin's about to talk, he was being pulled by someone into a dark alley. jeno and renjun were shocked and quickly followed jaemin into the isolated place.

jaemin was about to fight back but he felt a cold, sharp metal was placed at his neck. it was a knife.

"hey! let go of our friend!" jeno yelled as they reached a dead end. the person who turned out to be a criminal smirked at him.

"as if i will do that." he said in his raspy voice. his breath was so bad it made jaemin want to puke. probably because he just smoke before.

renjun looked very terrified but he tried his best to remain calm. "let him go! we'll give you money!" renjun shouted and the guy just laughed.

"haha! not as much as his parents would give me!"

meanwhile, jeno saw a long wood not far from him. he could use it to knock out that guy. before jeno could act for his plan, he heard a clicking sound.

"i know what you're up to kid. but let me say this, i'm winning this and you're hopeless." he said as his smirk grew larger. he now had a gun pointed at jeno. jeno gritted his teeth as he realised that his plan was ruined.

jaemin took the opportunity to bite the guy's hand and kicked him between the legs. the boys quickly escaped but the guy managed to shoot one of them.

"ARRGH!"

jaemin felt a sharp pain at his left shoulder as he saw his shoulder started to bleed. jeno and renjun quickly turned back to help their friend.

then the guy pointed back his gun at jaemin. "you kids were messing around with me!" he groaned.

"if i were you i swear to god that i won't pull that trigger."

the boys eyes widened as they heard a familiar voice, coming from behind that guy.

the guy just chuckled. "really? what are girl like you doing in this place at night?" he mocked, not even turning to look at her.

suddenly, the guy's hand that was holding the gun turned its direction slowly from jeno to himself.

"what? what the hell is this?! i can't move my hands!" he yelled and the boys just watched in amazement.

"i told you already.... i won't pull the trigger." bora appeared beside him as she looked at him. pathetic. she thought.

the guy smirked before he raised his left arm and about to slice her but bora yawned before stopping his hand mid air. she's not even touching his hand. she just pointed it out.

"you monster! you witch!" the guy yelled as bora smiled.

"i'm not a monster, nor a witch." she said and within a second, the guy fell to the ground already unconscious. jeno, jaemin and renjun just stood there, watching as bora ended the guy.

"d-did you... kill him?" renjun asked as the girl walked towards them. she was smiling and shook her head.

"no, he's not worth it to kill."

she then looked at jaemin's shoulder. once she noticed his wound, she rushed to him and looked at him in the eyes.

"removed your hands." she ordered but jaemin just stared at her.

"i said remove your hands." she repeated. jaemin looked at jeno and renjun and they just nodded, telling jaemin to trust bora.

slowly, jaemin removed his hands away. blood were covering his shirt as soon as he unclasped his hands.

bora suddenly ripped jaemin's shirt (around the shoulder only) and examined the wound closely. "you both might want to look away." she said as jeno and renjun awkwardly turned around.

"what are you doing?" jaemin whispered as he panicked a bit.

bora shush him by placing her finger at jaemin's lips, sending shivers down his spines. "trust me..." she said in a soft tone.

then, she brought her face closer to jaemin's wound. jaemin didn't know what she's up to so he shut his eyes closed. and his eyes shot opened as he felt something tickles. he looked down....

the girl was licking his blood away.
