Chapter 4

the days went on and on like that and bora pretty sure blended in well with the boys. she joined them every lunch and always be with them especially with jeno. among the boys, she was very close to jeno.

the day the boys had been waiting for finally came in, friday. it was their sleepover at jaemin's cottage. they were really excited about it and kept talking about it the whole day at school.

"so you will sleep in a house which is located in a forest all alone?" bora asked during lunch and they all nodded in excitement.

"sounds like fun." she said as she turned her attention back to her book. like usual, bora never ordered a drink or food during lunch but the dream team already get used to it. she had nothing to do so she read a book.

as they were laughing and talking, an idea popped in jeno's mind. "you can join us!" he said excitedly and they all stared at him.

"yah, are you crazy? she's a girl and i don't think her parents will allow her to go sleep in a forest." renjun said but bora slightly smirked as she heard him.

"he's not crazy. i would love to join you guys. only if you allowed me." she said, looking at them with hope. the dreamies then exchanged looks.

"i-i don't know. what will your parents say?" jaemin asked and bora thought for a few seconds.

"my parents won't say anything. they never cared about me." she said bluntly. soon, one by one approved bora to join them and it made her so happy and smiled.

yes, she rarely smiles and when she does, the boys realised how pretty she was and it made jeno's heart fluttered even more.

"we will gather at jaemin's house at 6pm and his dad will drive us there. where do you live, bora? i can pick you up and we can go to his house together." jeno said flashing her a smile as the boys faked coughs and smirked at him.

however, bora was too innocent to notice a thing. donghyuck claimed that she has a heart of rock as she rarely smiles. she also ignored all those pick up lines the boys in this school sent her.

and of course, jeno never made any moves towards her. in fact, he was denying that he has a slightly little crush on her. however, the dream team can read him well and knew that jeno actually likes her.

"erm... how about you give me the cottage address? i'll go there by myself." she said and rolled her eyes when the boys being overly overprotective.

"no! it's dangerous to go in the forest alone!"
"are you crazy? you can get lost!"
"uhh no way! come with us, it's much safer."

"it's either you give me the address or i'm not going." bora said raising an eyebrow. the boys finally gave up and agreed with her. anyway, they always lost arguments with her.

before they left the school, jaemin gave bora a sticky with the address on it. he also asked her to stay behind and explained the road to the place. after explaining the whole thing, jaemin finally bid goodbye before reminding her to stay safe.

"it's already dark. why she's not here yet?" jeno asked worriedly as he looked around the forest. they had setup firewood in front of the cottage to keep them warm and fuzzy. of course they're provided with electricity but they preferred the old style.

"maybe she caught up with something and come a bit late?" renjun answered while setting up the bbq set with others. they were preparing for their dinner.

"stop worrying about her and come help us with this!" jeno sighed as he heard jaemin yelled at him. he was just worried about bora.

while they were setting up the equipment, they heard sounds of footsteps coming from the forest. jaemin put his finger in his lips and motioned the boys to keep quiet.

"yo, i'm scared..." renjun whispered as he tiptoed towards jeno and hid behind him. the sounds grew louder and louder until it stopped.

"whew..." jaemin let out a heavy breath as he turned towards his friends. "everything's okay. there's nothing to worry about." he said and gave them a reassuring smile.

"hi guys!"

"AAAAHHH HELP!" -na jaemin
"JESUS CHRIST! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" -lee donghyuck
"EOMMA!!" -huang renjun
"YAH RENJUN STOP SQUEEZING ME I CAN'T BREATHE!!" -lee jeno

they all hugged each other and became embarrassed as they saw bora walking towards them. she looked at them, raising an eyebrow and jeno quickly pulled them away.

"hi, seems like you make it here." jeno greeted and smiled shyly. the girl looked at their terrified faces and tried her best to control her laugh but she failed. bora soon burst into a laughing mess making the boys felt really embarrassed.

"yah, it's not funny. we thought you were ghost or fury beast or something." jaemin pouted and bora wiped her tears away.

"okay okay, i'm sorry." she apologised and soon they all continued making dinner.
