Me and my two best friends, Alex and Lucas, while walking to school began to talk about the sleepover at my house that night. First lesson I had Math, second lesson I had Science, third lesson I had Computer Science and fourth lesson I had Grammar. The day for me went quick as The Flash and we all got on the bus for my stop. When we got there, we picked up our bags and I helped my friends get theirs, as they had lots more than me. In the house, my Mom came up to me and said, "Hello Joe! Have you had a nice day today?". And I answer, "Eh... yeah.....". My Dad then breezes in and goes, "Hello everybody, anything happen today?". And we all go, "No... no not really...". My dad then goes into the kitchen to get dinner out the oven, which was lucky because we were all starving. Me and my friends are like wolves, biting massive chunks of the pizza (which was what we were having, by the way) and munching down on the soft dough. At about 7:00pm I went into the living room. "Hi Mom, we were just wondering if we could all go out on our scooters?" I half questioned. "Yes, be quick though. It's quite dark now" she replied. I never knew why she said that every time I went out when it was dark. I looked out the window, seeing the full moon before going to tell Alex and Lucas to get ready. We were all ready and about to leave when my dad stops us. "Be careful out there, ok?". He seemed to be warning us about something but I didn't know what. After that we set off. I told my friends my best memories of the streets that we passed or went down until we stopped at a street called 'Plantation Way'. "This is the way I usually go" I told them. We began to walk up the hill, because it isn't easy to ride a scooter uphill. Just when we're right near the top, we realise that we had seen lots of cars pass us when we were on the other street, but it seemed like there were no cars coming up here. The branches of the trees had absolutely no leaves on them at the top of the hill. We then continued up the hill a tiny bit, then finally saw someone standing up ahead. They were wearing a white hoodie and looked like they had something in their hand, but we figured it would have just been a phone or something. We then approached the figure a bit more. "Um, hello..." I said, a little nervous. "Hey, kid, do you want to play?" asked the figure, before turning around, showing his face, that looked like his eyelids had been burned off and as if his mouth had been peeled off with a knife, just showing his teeth. Me and my friends made a run for it, without using the brakes on out scooters, we sped back down the hill, leaving the 'thing' in our dust and managed to get home safely.
