The second I laid my eyes on you
somehow, I knew, it could be you
It was the push and pull sign
that kept on running through my mind
Every picture had your face
an ageless love in my space
Caught up in the whip of your hair
but I guess you pushed my heart there
All the waves of commotion
to the middle of the ocean
Where every little inch of your body
became my private party
From the drumming and humming
you made my heart sing in sync
As the guitar played slow
on every kiss I couldn't let go
To the tune we created
we were lost, we were fated
From the solid start line
to the end, you were mine
Maybe we could have been more
the vibes we shared, I felt sure
you'd be the only one
who made my heart one...
