It was the drumming of your fingers
up against my chest
Echoing the strings on my singer
doing what I do best
Falling in the depths of your skin
lost in every inch of you
Reaching out to the star's rim
gazing back at me, and right throughIn your eyes, I'm mesmerized
caught in the middle
Of a stupid love riddle
by the twinkling halo of the skies
Surrounded by the sand in our hands
as our fingers start to fiddle
Losing the sheets of the canvas
as the stars fade from the night's dressAs we sing to the tune
all in the second we sync our lips
The gleam learns to swoon
our hearts under the moon...
