Reeds POV
(Before the parents left)
Jenn-"sweetie, I'm leaving for a business trip in New York for 3 weeks and I want you and Ava to stay at Lucia's house."
Reed-"mom." I whine
Jenn-"what."
Reed-"I can take care of myself and I can be in charge of Ava."
Jenn-"what's so bad with staying at Lucia's house?"
Reed-"nothing."
Jenn-"then youre staying there."
Reed-"mom. I'm 16! I can stay home alone and especially babysit my own little sister."
Jenn-sigh "fine, but just because i don't want to argue doesn't mean you 'won'."
Reed-"thank you mom."
Jenn-"you're welcome, just don't burn the house down."
Reed-"you should tell that to Ava not me."
Jenn-"but you're in charge."
Reed-"oh yeah, any rules."
Jenn-"yes, the main too rules is to NOT open the door to strangers. Also I'm leaving the other cars keys in case you need to buy groceries or whatever. Done crash it please."
Reed-"I won't."
Jenn-"ok, bye sweetie." Cupped my fave and kissed my cheek
Reed- I groan " mom you know I don't like it when you do that."
Jenn-"I'm sorry, ima go tell Ava bye and ima get going."
Reed-"ok, bye mom."
She heads out my room

My mom left to New York, and I'm bored,-
Ava-"reed."
Reed-"what."
Ava-"can you take me to the movies with my friends."
Reed-"yeah but I'm not picking you up."
Ava-"it's fine, jaden's mom is picking us up, we're having a sleepover."
Reed-"you didn't ask me."
Ava-"I asked mom already."
Reed-"oh, ok."

I dropped Ava off and I totally forgot that her friends have a crush on me. It was weird they came up to me and was like "*giggles* hey reed, you haven't responded to my dms." Then i was like "you guys are like 13." Then after I said that they scoffed and said "so, 3 years is nothing." Then i just walked away and I heard Ava say "you guys are nasty." And I laughed and went in the car. Sigh I'm gonna be home...alone
