CHAPTER 1: PRISM
_____________________________________________________________________________________________THIRD POV
The sun was up, the birds were singing, and people were bustling like any other day. Though, in a world of quirks, there's bound to be trouble. There's always someone with evil motives around the corner. And today is no different.
Using the ability of light, Hana flashes across the tops of roofs, jumping every now or so to follow the giant villain. On this particular day, she's assisting Kamui Woods to capture him.
Flashing to the next roof, she can spot the older hero, by two years, up ahead. As the villain continues to run, Hana quickly spreads her arms out to the side and wills the light to multiply.
"Disperse," she yells, glowing an aura of white.
Immediately, the light creates illusions, or copies, of herself. All them are their own different glow of color.
"Surround the villain from behind while Kamui intersects him from the front," Hana, or as titled, Spectrum, orders.
"Got it," Green, the clam and rational, states before following the orders.
"Time to have some fun," Orange, the spontaneous and most adaptable, yells, not wasting a second.
"Let's pummel this villain," Red, the most passionate which means she gets the more angrier than the rest, announces, following Orange.
After every color spreads out to surround the giant villain from the back sides, Hana keeps the center back. Once they're a tight net, Hana is quick to notify the older hero. Reaching her communications device, she calls out.
"Kamui, we have him surrounded from the back, and he's continuing towards your position," Spectrum informs.
"Alright, I see him coming towards the train station. Prepare to apprehend him," his voice sounds through the ear-piece.
"Understood," she states.
Dropping the conversation, she flashes on top of several buildings to close the distance. Around her, she can spot her illusions, shooting their colored beams of light whenever the villain tries to change course. Since the colored beams are a direct source of light, they naturally burn.
Yes, she has the ability and intelligence to capture this villain by herself, but she wasn't like that. Hana enjoyed helping people. Plus, if she were to take on crimes by herself and take down the criminals, the big spotlight would be on her. That's something she despises, and it's ironic since she uses light as her power. Even if they were simple crimes, she still helped.
"Go away," the giant yells, taking a swipe at Kamui Woods.
Reaching a close enough roof, Hana nods at her copies. They take their positions and create an arc behind the criminal. Once, that's done, they preform in synch, mirroring the originals movements. Stretching her arms in front of her, Hana brings her hands together and makes a triangle. With the diamond prism on her chest, the white light concentrates on her hands before shooting the beam. Her colored copies create the same action, shooting their colors.
"Prismatic Flare," Hana, and her copies, shout in synch.
The attack distracts the violent criminal and stops his onslaught to defend himself. To the onlookers, this attack looks like a rainbow. Streams of brightly colored lights. Upon seeing this, they automatically know who's helping Kamui Woods.
