I do my morning routine and walk back to my room. I see Paxton holding his side. "Paxton are you sure everything's fine" I ask. "Yeah just think I pulled a muscle or something" he says. I nod. I lock my fingers with his and walk down stairs. "Mom,dad" I say. I see my mom and dad sitting at the kitchen table talking. "Hello sweetheart" my dad says. "Hey dad, mom we need to talk" I say. I see there faces go serious. I sit down with Paxton. I squeeze his hand. He rubs circles around my hand. I smile. "Mom dad ummm" I trail off. "Yes" my mom says. I see my dad cross his arms. I stand there sobbing in to his shoulder. I see my mom come in the room. "Hun you don't have to go to school the rest of this week" she says. I nod. "Ok thank you Alice" Paxton says. I see my mom nod. I see he has a bruise on her face from my dads slap. I feel bad for her. After a while of crying me and Paxton was to my room. I sit on the end of my bed. I see it's only 1:30pm. "Hey love do you wanna go out for lunch we can get your mom something on the way back so she doesn't have to cook" Paxton ask. I smile. "Yeah" I say. I grab my phone and wallet. I know on my moms door. "Come in" she says. I open the door. "Umm mom me and Paxton are going out we are going to get you something to eat what would you like" I ask her. "Umm a Big Mac and chocolate shake" she says. I nod. I close the door after I say goodbye. I walk to Paxton truck with him. He opens the door for me. "Thanks" I say. He nods. I see him get in. "So love Where are we going first" he ask. "Umm want to go get another tattoo" I ask. "Umm Yeah I was really digging one that I wanted to get" he says. "Same" I say. I smile.
