Chapter Twenty-Six

Liana's POV

"What are you gonna do, huh?" In a second he pinned me against the wall and dug his fangs into my neck. I cried out in pain and tried to push him off me. After a while he stepped back and I sank to the floor. I placed my hand on my neck where he bit me.

"You bit me."

"No I marked you, so now we are fully mated. I get to be alpha and you get to be nothing you get to be nothing but his worthless mate. Now if you tell anyone this is fake I will kill your little angel friend. You know the one that can see things." He sneered as tears rolled down my face. I just lost my mom then found my family and now he might hurt them if I don't allow him to be alpha. Now i'm mated to him for the rest of my life.

"Why are you doing this?" I sniffed as he knelt down in front of me and reached to wipe a tear from my face. I flinched away from him as his hand collided against my cheek with a loud smack. He had hit me.

"I am the rightful alpha and no one can take my place. So you are going to obey my rules unless you want to lose everyone else in your life. Don't think I won't hesitate to kill everyone you love right in front of you, then I will kill you too."

More tears were rolling down my cheeks and I pushed myself more up against the wall. He stood up and walked out of the room. I held back sobs as I curled up into a ball. I had no one I could talk to. I could lose everyone with one wrong move. And at the moment the only person I could think of was Noah.

Why did he have to have this effect on me. All I did was meet him and now I can't stop thinking about him. He took care of me when he didn't know me. He protected me when he didn't know me. He sacrificed himself for me when he didn't know me. I've done nothing for him but he's done everything for me.

I stood up and went to the bathroom to check myself in the mirror. I wiped my tears away and luckily my eyes weren't red and puffy. Once I was done I walked over and knocked on the bathroom door that led to Remi's room.

"Liana hey, what happened is he really your mate?" I nodded, biting my lip to hold back a sob.

"I heard you scream I thought he hurt you." I nodded and she gasped.

"I did scream, um... he marked me. It hurt so it took my by surprise." She sighed.

"I thought he hit you or something. Gosh don't scare me like that." She gave me a huge smile and pulled me in for a hug. I replayed what had just happened in my head. How he seemed like he cared then he slapped me across the face. Remi gasped and pulled away to look at me.

"What?" Her eyes filled with tears and she covered her mouth with her hand.

"He hit you. Why didn't you tell me?" Her voice was muffled by her hand.

"How did you know?" Her hand dropped to her side.

"I saw it when I was hugging you. You were thinking about it and I was able to see it." She pulled me in for another hug.

"I doesn't matter right now okay, we have a bigger problem." She pulled away.

"Liana he hit you there is nothing bigger than this right now." I nodded.

"Yes there is. I need to find Noah."
