Chapter Two

Liana's POV

Noah turns around so fast I barely even noticed

"Liana I didn't know you were standing there, it was nothing just a prank my brother is doing on my sister." for some reason I didn't believe him but I can't let my mom win so I had to prove to her he was trustworthy.

"Oh I didn't mean to interrupt but I was wondering If you would like to come to dinner at my house my mom wants to meet you before our date." I then heard the person on the phone say

"Yes this is great our plan is finally coming together" I don't think Noah heard the person on the line but I did. I grabbed the phone out of Noah's hand

"What is going on Noah why did you lie to me what is the person your on the phone with talking about."

I ended the call and stared at Noah waiting for an answer.

"Look" he said leading me away from the crowd " I don't know how to explain it but i'm not like my family, at all but..." he looks at me hesitantly "they kill your kind" I froze I couldn't move. In my head I was screaming run, run, run, as fast as you can get your mom and yourself out of there but I didn't instead I listened to what he was saying.

"I swear I'm not like the rest of my family, I can explain."

"Explain what that your family is trying to kill my family?" I was mad horribly mad then someone comes up and puts a hand around my waist and immediately I know who it is. Ethan Coln, my Ex boyfriend. I broke up with him a month ago, because of his arrogant self. Apparently he didn't get the message when I slapped him last week for trying to kiss me. I hated him, and he had the nerve to come up and grab me like i'm still his.

I turn around to see him with a wide smirk on his face then I realize who he is smirking at Noah. I kick him in his family jewels. He sprawls on the ground groaning in pain. "Idiot" I scream, backing away. I turn around and bolt to the nearest Girl's bathroom.

While in the bathroom, I hear a voice outside the girl's bathroom, It's Noah. I open the stall and peer around the wall dividing us.  He's standing by the sink, waiting for me.

"Noah, I'm so sorry you had to see that. Ethan means nothing to me, he is nothing to me. I broke up with him a month ago, but he still thinks i'm with him. I swear I..."

I wasn't able to finish before Noah smashed his lips to mine pressing me against the wall. He passionately kissed me, with his hands on my back. I kissed him back not caring what his family is,  All I wanted at that moment was him. My fingers entwined in his hair, his body against mine, letting a soft moan escape my lips. He chuckled which made me blush.

"Oh my gosh sorry I didn't mean to interrupt." I looked behind Noah to see a girl in my grade looking mortified. "No it's fine" I said. "we have to get to class anyways" I grabbed Noah's arm and dragged him away from the bathroom. I let go of his arm and turned around to see Noah looking like nothing. he had no emotion on his face, and I couldn't tell what he was thinking.

I looked at him questionably before saying "what are you thinking about." He looks me in the eye and and hesitates before he says "Nothing." I knew he was going to tell me something but hesitated, before saying nothing, acting like nothing is wrong but I know something is bothering him. "Noah" I say in a concerned tone "what is it, is there something you want to tell me?"  He looks at me sincerely and says " If you still would like me over for dinner tonight I would love to come without my family getting in the way."

"Noah" I say  "as much as I would love to have you over for dinner, I need to know you more after what I found out. I'm not blaming you but I need to know for myself if I can trust you better before I bring you to my home, I hope you understand." I wait for him to respond outraged but he doesn't he nods his head politely,

"I understand, but I will prove to you that you can trust me and I will make sure my family doesn't get in the way" He then kisses me on the cheek before heading to class. I stand there unsure what to do about the whole family trying to kill other family thing, but decide my best bet is to head to class which started twenty minutes ago.

"Ugh i'm going to be so late," I say as I rush to my class down at the other end of the school.

I get to class just as the class ends so now I have to walk all the way down to the other side of school. I'm gonna get in so much trouble for missing all of first period. I rush down to second period which I have with Noah. I get there early and sit down, then the person who comes in next of course is Ethan. He sits right next to me and all his friends take the other seats near me. " Great i'm surrounded by douche bags" I mutter loud enough for only me to hear, but of course Ethan and his friends apparently head it to.

"I'm sorry what did you say babe"

"I'm not your babe" I snapped.

"Maybe you shouldn't talk back to me." I try to stand up and move to another seat but they block me from leaving. I get mad and try to shove my way through but It does nothing since their a thick line of Dumb asses.
