Hoseok was astonished by all that he was seeing, whilst also proceeding with caution. He had always thought of the Underworld as a scary, dark, morbid, forbidden place, at least that is what Father had told him, and he fears his speculations quite possibly might be truthful. Yoongi had frightened him a bit as well, not that he would ever admit that aloud, when the older god split open the surface of the earth, and a chariot attached to four dark horses, with wings resembling that of bats arose from below, and Yoongi had motioned for the younger to approach the beasts. Hoseok loved all living things, but was justifiably hesitant on nearing the imposing, violent looking creatures; for Zeus's sake, blue flame flared from the beasts' nostrils!

The contrasting pair had nonetheless arrived at Yoongi's palace residing in the heart of the Underworld. The two gods had stepped through the grand entryway of giant black iron, ornate gates, and were now traveling through the main hall. The grand, dark, imposing columns towered overhead, striking uneasiness into Hoseok's sense of reasoning. His heart was pounding so hard within his chest, he was sure the older immortal could sense his fear.

"Y-Yoongi, I'm fr-frightened," Hoseok finally admitted quietly, encasing his bottom lip inbetween his teeth nervously, clutching onto the elder god's long sleeve, "M-maybe we should just turn back. Father will be looking for us," Hoseok tried to convince the older god.

Yoongi smiled fondly down at the younger immortal's alarmed, innocent face. He gently brushed his thumb across Hoseok's plump, roseate lip, gently prying it away from his teeth, and brushed his ginger-colored bangs from his emerald eyes with a delicate motion. Yoongi treated the younger god like a precious glass. Hoseok blushed madly at Yoongi's actions, shifting his eyes away from the embarrassment churning in the pit of his stomach due to the way that the older god's actions made him feel.

"There's no need to be scared, little flower. Nothing can harm you when you're with me. I will always make sure of that," Yoongi promised, placing his palm against the younger god's flushed cheek.

Hoseok's face heated, his heart still beating at an erratic speed, however, now the idiosyncratic rythm was due to Yoongi's words, "What a charming god you are, Hades. You make Aphrodite himself burn with jealousy."

"I am of no threat to Aphrodite's allure," Yoongi spoke with a devilish grin, "but you, my dear flower, bring shame upon his looks. There is none other in this world with beauty like yours, that I am sure of."

Hoseok gasped softly, emerald eyes widened, "You mustn't declare such silly lies, else Aphrodite will curse us both," he clutched onto the older god's broad shoulders.

Hoseok couldn't help but stare deeply into Yoongi's mesmerizing, charcoal eyes. They were the absolute darkest things that the young god had ever seen, and he found himself absolutely adoring them. They held so much mystery, so much emotion. Hoseok's mind was becoming hazy with want, and that frightened the young god. He didn't know what he was feeling and experiencing, or precisely what he was wanting, but he longed for it badly.

"Let him, for no lies have been uttered," Yoongi husked lowly, a slight gleam of mischief flickering in his dark eyes.

Yoongi's breath ghosted softly across the younger god's lips, they were so near to one another. Hoseok's breathing hitched, light perspiration beginning to form on the back of his slim neck. Why was his body behaving in this way? Was he going mad?

"Come now, flower," Yoongi turned away from the younger immortal, intertwining his long fingers with Hoseok's, "We've reached the throne room. Taehyung has been waiting for our arrival."

Hoseok released a breath he hadn't known he was holding. They had been so close to one another. He hadn't known how to handle himself, or even what he had been anticipating. He followed alongside his companion for the short distance until they reached the large, ornate doors. Yoongi reached out his other hand, pushing them open wide.

As everything else had been, it was entirely darkly colored, lit up by candles mounted to the stone walls, and chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling. A few low black marble steps jutted from the floor and rose up to a platform. Elegantly carved from obsidian and black gold, sat two magnificent thrones, the arms wide and sturdy, while the backs were high and imposing. Hoseok could imagine how striking Yoongi would look when seated there, how handsome and brooding. He felt a low fire fill his stomach envisioning the alluring sight. The way his sharp eyes would focus on someone standing at the base of the steps, his expression stern and commanding, dressed in his elegant robes, the power that would radiate off his form.

"Yoongi?" A low, deep voice called from within the room, snapping Hoseok's attention towards its origin.

A tall man emerged from the shadows at the far end of the grand room, wearing long robes as dark as Yoongi's, with his own dark hair to match. He had a pair of mighty, deep black, feathered wings looming over his form, ensuring his presence was intimidating. A bright smile graced the man's features as his gaze fell upon Hoseok.

"Persephone!" The man cheered excitedly, gliding across the large room to the two gods.

As the man approached, he cupped Hoseok's face with his large, cool hands. Hoseok's emerald doe eyes widened. He looked to his side for Yoongi, only to see the stoic god grinning widely. The sight made Hoseok's stomach flutter; Yoongi was so alarmingly handsome. Hoseok looked back to the being grasping his face. His ruby eyes were sparkling and childlike.

"Taehyung," Yoongi's deep voice chuckled calmly from beside them, "Release him. You've frightened him."

"Oh no," Taehyung gasped, eyes widening, his wings softening and tucking up against him, "My apologies, little one. I have just been eagerly awaiting for the day when you would arrive. There's so much I want to speak with you about!" He clapped his large hands together excitedly.

"Y-you've been waiting? For I?" Hoseok tilted his head in confusion, a hand resting against his chest.

"Of course," Taehyung beamed, bright red eyes flashing, "Yoongi speaks of you daily. I'm overjoyed that you and I are finally meeting one another."

Hoseok's eyes flitted over to Yoongi again, astounded at the sheepish expression on the older god's face. Yoongi spoke of him? As a daily occurrence? Yoongi had already known who he was? A bright scarlet flared on Hoseok's cheeks as images of Yoongi secretly admiring him from afar, shrouded in shadows, formed in his mind. Was that a reality? Oh, Hoseok hoped it was. Was that why his heartbeat increased so abruptly? Was that why was he suddenly so very warm?

Taehyung's booming voice snapped Hoseok from his questioning thoughts, "Persephone, would you allow me to show you around, little one?" Taehyung asked kindly, lacing his fingers with the younger god's.

Hoseok nodded, his dazzling, dimpled grin showing itself on his roseate lips, a small giggle in response to Taehyung's gentle smile.
