Chapter Seven

Taehyung p.o.v. but in writing format

Day 1

I have been so happy this week since all my lessons were canceled. I had planned to visit Royal Grandma, but I thought spying on Jungkook would be more fun than sitting two hours in a room.

Day 2

Today I saw Jungkook practicing with Taeyong hyung sword fighting with Jungkook and it seemed so much fun. I also saw Jungkook smiling a bunch and that makes me feel a little left out, but it's okay I still have a lifetime to see him smiling. I took a walk around the garden and saw Jongdae hyung talking with Seokmin hyung. Being the curious self I am I crept up to them to hear their conversation. They said something along the lines of: 'Did you put the powder in all of the prince's food.' Seokmin hyung said

' Yes, I didn't put any on Prince Jimin's food' Jongdae replied. I was really scared cause what have I been eating these days and what the others are eating. I am glad that they don't harm Jimin hyung, but what about the other hyungs and Jungkook? I really trusted in those two hyungs. Why did they have to put poison in our food? I continue to listen hoping to get something more.

'We have to spare the young princes too if they all suddenly die it will be blamed on all of us. I think we should frame someone else when the time comes.' Seokmin hyung said.

"If it works for you it works for me. Let us go before the break is over." Jongdae hyung replied. That's all I heard when I knew I should wait for a little more until I walk out.

I quickly rush to Olive Courtyard to see if Jungkook is okay. I enter the courtyard and see Jungkook eating nothing. It was usually the time for ending lunch, but Jungkook still doesn't have his meal yet. I see a man walking towards Jungkook with his food. I was really surprised to see a meal that looked so plain. There were only rice and some slightly raw meat. It was nothing royalty would ever eat. I see him take a bite and he instantly smiled. He ate the meat that was slightly burnt, but the insides were not a brown it was a nice red. I see him smile. I felt a wave of relief come through me when Jungkook didn't eat the dishes cooked for him. I don't know when I started to care for Jungkook, but he is my important little brother.

Day 3

I have started to tell the maids to personally cook my meals and to supervise the kitchen. If they ever see someone adding anything suspicious, I told them to immediately tell me. I walk around the garden and notice that all around me are black roses. Which is the most supplied plant in the palace, but I don't see any black roses in the Olive Courtyard, not even one. I wonder why? I knew that Jungkook's birthday was a few days before father's, but it's the thought that counts right. That is what I think. I prepared a baby bunny that looks just like Jungkook. I was feeding the bunny and I think it got fatter. Maybe it's only me it looks bigger and feels heavier. I think I fed it too much!!! What do I do now? Well, there is always next year right. I didn't think that much, so now the bunny likes my courtyard so much. It even stays still there and munches on grass.

I started to join literature competitions and somehow I won all of them. I saw a lot of pieces and they are all superior to mine. I sometimes want to scold the officials. They always think a promotion is gained through the prince. I went to the military field hoping to see Yoongi hyung and tell him that there might be poison in his dishes. I ended up having a battle against him and not telling him. I think he was weaker than the last time we fought. I really think I should tell father. I should be confident right? I am going tomorrow no matter what happens.

Day 4

I really hate the palace. They said that the king is busy with palace affairs that determine the fate of the country. I think it's different they are trying to stop me from going to visit the king. I tried visiting Royal Grandma, but they say that she is heavily sick and need time to recuperate with the help of the gods. Don't kid me I know Royal Grandma isn't sick I visited her five days ago. There is no way she is able to get gravely ill in five days. I go visit Jungkook, but the palace attendants say he went to town to have a meeting with the Chinese envoys. I am starting to get frustrated how come everybody I want to meet is busy or ill. I finally went to see Jimin hyung. I was met with a surprised Jimin's hair was let down instead of his usual hair in a bun.(A/N Just Taehyung with long hair is the death of me, but six more men!!! I'm dead.I would stan them with long hair so much. Even though I already stan them. Just imagine😍😍😍) He was reading a book, but it looked like his mind was somewhere else. I see a maid that assists Jimin hyung and I tap on her shoulder. She was startled and asked me what's wrong. I ask her if Jimin hyung had strange behavior lately. She said he has been spacing out more lately and his poems aren't like the happy poems before they are darker and portray more sadness. I was scared what if they were trying to kill Jimin and everyone else. I am so worried. I really don't think I can sleep tonight.

So who do you think is behind all this? Hint: it is not Chen or DK. This is part one of two. I will continue this on chapter nine. The next chapter will be about day three to four in Jungkook p.o.v
