The following day, Mallory decided to go meet up with Jeremy at the Grill. She knew he was there because Ben, someone Anna had turned, had informed her since he was a bartender there. Jeremy was shooting pool when Mallory approached him, "Hey. How'd it go?" She spoke up, causing Jeremy to turn to her.

"What?" He asked her confused.

"Duh! The paper." She replied and Jeremy gave her a look that showed that he felt stupid for not knowing what she meant.

"Oh. I got an 'A.'" Jeremy informed her a smile on his face, "Thanks for the articles. They really helped."

"Cool. That's good," She responded, "So what'd he say about the vampires? Did he believe it?"

"I don't even believe it. It's just a paper, Mal," He reminded her before placing his pool stick down, "Anyways, I, uh—I gotta get goin'. See you later."

Jeremy walked around the pool table, reading to leave. Mallory shut her eyes for a moment, trying to think of what to do to get him to stay and hang with her. She needed to get close to him to get the Gilbert Journal from him. It was the only way to get the vampires out of the tomb. Unlike the Salvatores, the same blood that ran through her ran through of most of them since she was the one who turned almost all of them.

"Uh, hey, um..." Mallory trailed off, as she followed after him, "Would you maybe want to do something later?" She proposed.

"Uh, sorry, but I'm actually stuck on punch duty at the school dance," Jeremy informed her and Mallory immediately knew that she would have to attend it, even if it risked her brother finding out she was back in town.

"Oh," Mallory replied with a chuckle, "How'd you get stuck with that?"

"Well, I'm failin' English, so I copped a plea," Jeremy informed her with a smile on her face.

"Well, I guess I'll see you another time then, huh?" She told him and Jeremy nodded before leaving.

While Stefan and Damon were at Elena's house after Noah decided to try and attack Elena because of his stupid obsession with Katherine, Mallory snuck into the Salvatore Boarding House and obtained some of her belongings from the fifties.

She ended up wearing a light blue halter dress that has white polka dots covering it. There was a thick white belt around her slim waist and Mallory wore her hair in a curled ponytail.

After arriving at the high school, Mallory entered the gymnasium and found it be decorated the fifties themed and numerous teams wore fifties clothing while music from that decade was played by the DJ. Her eyes scanned the room and she spotted Elena standing with Bonnie and Caroline while Damon and Stefan stood together.

Mallory soon spotted Jeremy by the punch bowl and smiled. She began to walk toward him, her high heels clicking, "You're not even wearing anything Fifties themed," She suddenly spoke up, causing Jeremy to frown as he turned to her.
