Sally's P.O.V

A misty wet autumn day, it is cold and dark as if it were night. Everyone in the halls are drowsy and tired, except one person I always see come alive in dark weather like this. (y/n) is a beautiful yet strange girl, she doesn't really talk to people and seems slightly tired constantly. But when everyone else is tired in this dark damp weather she seems so much more alive, as if the rain revives her energy. She's always given off this aura, one that makes people stay far away from her. Not even Travis would dare to bully her, people just tend to leave her to her own devices. When she does talk to people she's an extreme smooth talker, I don't know how she does it yet even after skipping over half of class one day she was able to easily talk the teacher out of any punishment. I don't know if it's something in her eyes or something in the way she presents herself but something feels very off about her.

She has been in school for a year and a half now, yet I never see her in the cafeteria at lunchtime, it's as if she's disappeared from the face of the earth when lunchtime comes around. Sometimes she shows up before class starts after lunch, sometimes she's late and has this look to her eyes that concerns me. It's as if a wolf was prowling its prey, fighting away the hunger biting inside of it waiting for the proper moment to strike. I walk down the hall my eyes lock on her, her elegant figure radiates beauty. She was certainly the most beautiful girl in the school but no one would even dare to ask her out, I fear if someone was to ask her out they'd be slaughtered on the spot. Her sharp nails painted a deep red color fading into a dusty charcoal black, her sharp smile is enough to give someone a heart attack. I can tell her teeth are a little longer than most, as if she has canines to rip apart flesh like a wild animal.

I look at the papers in my hands, ones she forgot in class she needed to take to her locker, or she'd have them locked in the classroom since the teacher had to go home early. She'd always leave the moment the bell rings, you'd think someone like that would have bad grades but no. She has the best grades in the entire class, she may be even smarter than Todd even. When she left her papers the teacher right away asked for a volunteer to take them to her, like a stampede the class fled leaving just me and the teacher. Since I was the only one still there he gave me her papers and told me to give them to her, I suppose this was an excuse to speak to her for the first time. "Hey dude what are you staring at?" I jolt turning to Larry annoyed, I had told him about sneaking up on me like that. I look back to where she was standing only to see she's no longer there, now I have to go searching for her.

"I was looking at (y/n), I have papers of hers I need to return. But since you surprised me I lost track of her, now I have to go searching for her" He lifts his hands up defensively at my annoyance, I can sense the worry in his gaze. He always sensed something was weird about her too, he actively tried to avoid her just like the rest of the school. "Bad luck there man, having to talk to her that is. Don't go off getting eaten or something, I will be in the cafeteria" I snort at him as he walks away, being eating by her was a ridiculous notion. Even if she has longer teeth and sharp nails that doesn't mean she's going to eat me, there is many better explanations for that other than she eats people. Plenty of girls have their nails sharp and long as a style choice, it gives them a different touch to their normal wardrobe. Depending on how they paint them they can seem elegant or deadly, she just likes more dark themes for her nails I guess.

She always wears a collar as well, it's a very goth fashion choice but it's not like she's the only one that wears them in this school. Ash wears collars all the time, though the fact she'll wear not very goth seeming outfits at times with the collar is a bit strange. Like one time she wore a light blue button up blouse and a knee-high gray skirt, it didn't quite go together as much as her other outfits but it still looked nice. "Now where could she have gone, her locker is right there but it's probably best if I don't break my way in. Maybe she'll be by the girls room" I turn and begin walking down the hall towards the bathroom, the halls have emptied for lunch leaving me by myself. I walk up to the girl's bathroom leaning over to listen if anyone is inside, the inside of the bathroom sounds completely silent. I can't just walk inside, so I suppose I have to wait to see if she comes out or look somewhere else, leaning against the wall I begin to wait to see if she comes out.
