Sal's P.o.v

I turn towards Larry with a determined look in my eyes, if Larry isn't able to pick this lock then I'll bust my way into this shed. I will do anything to find the truth for her, she deserves to be at peace and I'll make that happen. "You sure dude, maybe we should warm up a little longer" I can tell he's really nervous about what could be inside the shed, I understand completely but if we wait any longer it will just get colder outside. The longer we spend out here the more likely we're going to succumb to the frostbite chilling our bodies, if that happens we could lose fingers or toes. There is also a chance we'd freeze to death as well, at least inside the shed it'll be easier to get warm. "Yes I am sure, the longer we spend in the snow the colder it gets. It's best to stop beating around the bush and take action, let's go"

I turn to my backpack and pull out my flashlight and tuck the bobby pins into my hoodie pocket, I knew Larry was going to need some light to work on the lock. Sighing in dismay he gets up from beside the warm fire, the fire is far enough away from the tree's so that it won't burn them. Realizing this he just leaves the fire as it is and begins walking around the shed, (y/n) follows behind him quietly clearly curious. Maybe she wants to see how much better he is at picking locks then I am, I wouldn't be surprised since it is pretty interesting. I walk around the shed stepping over the branches and flip on my flashlight, Larry kneels down in front of the door taking a look at the lock. I turn the flashlight towards the lock, so he can get a better look, furrowing his eyebrows I can tell he's a bit confused. "I have never seen a lock quite like this man, but I think I can get it open. Give me a bobby pin"

I place the flashlight onto the ground, reaching into my pocket I pull out the package of bobby pins opening it taking one out. I hand it to him putting the package back into my pocket, bending over I pick back up the flashlight aiming it at the door again, so he can work. He bends the bobby pin, so he can work with it, quickly he begins to pick the lock trying to get the door open. I turn around to look at (y/n), who is standing at the edge of the forest staring at the lake. I guess she really wants to go over to the lake, it's kind of sad that I can't do anything about that. I have never met a ghost that is in peace before though, so maybe once she's at peace she'll be able to leave the confines of where she died. That'd be pretty cool because then I could show her how things have changed in Nockfell, she could even go meet Megan, and they could hang out together.

She'd like Megan a lot I think, I am pretty sure ghost's can touch each other so that way they'll be able to get hugs. I know Megan would love to be hugged, she's a sweet little girl and it's horrible what happened to her. A lot of the ghost's in the apartments are that of people who were murdered, most of my expertise is in ghosts who were murdered. I guess that's a good thing since it'll help if (y/n) was murdered, from the way she looks I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. People don't just randomly lose their eyeballs like that and if she had died in an accident that destroyed her eyeball like something stabbing through it, I would still see the broken up mush of eyeball sitting in the socket. I know this since I can see all of Mrs Sanderson's wounds from when she died, her eye had to have been removed by someone.

Who did it, that much I am not sure of. I turn back to Larry as he works, his expression looks very frustrated. I guess he is having trouble with this lock too, whoever locked this door didn't want anyone to get inside no matter how hard they try. It won't stop us though, we have to find the truth for her. "If you can't unlock it, we'll bust the window open. It's the best option we got after trying to pick the lock, though we need to be careful not to hurt ourselves" He nods to me not really speaking, I can tell he wants to unlock this just to prove something to himself now. Maybe he wants to prove he's a excellent lock picker, or maybe he just likes the challenge of this. (y/n) slowly returns to us swaying back and forth patiently, I don't think Larry is going to get this lock open. "THERE!" I jump in surprise at his loud statement, just as I was thinking he wouldn't get the door open I hear a click from the door as it unlocks.
