I slowly sit up in my bed, the springs creak under the movement of my body as I awaken from my slumber. I slip from under my covers causing a chill to go down my spine from the brisk winter air, yawning loudly I stand up making my way to my dresser to pull out something to wear. Digging through the old worn out dresser I pull out a pair of comfortable thick black leggings and a sanity fall's hoodie Larry gave me for my birthday a few years ago. I have known Larry for six years, ever since we were little we'd hang around together much to my family's dismay.

Last year around Christmas time Larry told me a new boy moved into the apartments who had a very peculiar face when he told me that I was very skeptical but then I met Sal and was very surprised to see he had no face. I never held it against Sal though, he seemed like a cool dude from the moment I met him even if he was a little different. I lean back a bit taking in my thoughts of the past when I hear my phone go off, I jolt slightly at the ringtone going off. Of course, I had to set Larry's ringtone to a sanity falls song even though it tended to startle the crap out of me in the morning. I let a smile curl it's way onto my lips as the ringtone plays for a couple more seconds, an overwhelming feeling of joy fills me seeing his number pop up.

I let out another heavy yawn and pick up my phone from my nightstand answering it pressing the phone to my ear. "You really make me want to change your ringtone Larry, This has to be the 7 billionth time you've scared the crap out of me calling me at-.... what time is it?" He lets out a loud laugh clearly amused by my anger at him, even though I am annoyed I can't stay mad at him. "Dude it's like 12:30 in the afternoon, why were you still asleep? Did you spend all night partying without me? That's not cool if you did, I would have totally joined that epic mosh if it made the great (y/n) crash so hard"

I sit down on the edge of my bed and begin pulling on my leggings holding my phone against my ear with my shoulder "No, I wouldn't dream of partying without you. Who else will I laugh at when they get so drunk they try to flirt with a door?" I laugh loudly at his long groan of annoyance "Come on man, it was one time. ONE TIME, and you got to admit that door was pretty hot" I stand back up placing my phone down putting it onto speaker then struggle to pull on my hoodie "Yeah, you had a total wood for that door"

"Yeah, but not as much as you got a hard-on for the bassist of sanity falls" I scoff loudly at him slipping on my shoe's walking to the window to admire the light flurries of beautiful snow falling outside "Oh come on, we both know he's hot as heck! You can't blame a girl for liking a bad ass bassist" I hear movement from the phone causing my eyes to shift, whispering sounds slightly through the speaker, so I lean closer trying to make out what they are saying. Sadly I can't understand a single word of what they are saying. "Larry? Is someone with you?"

"Huh? Yeah, Sal is here with me. I was actually just calling you to see if you wanted to come over to the apartments to hang out and listen to the new sanity fall's song!" I raise my eyebrow suspiciously taking my phone off speaker putting it back to my ear walking out of my bedroom "More like you want me to bring you snacks" I hear Sally let out a laugh from the background, Larry also starts to laugh after a couple of seconds causing a warm feeling to buzz through my chest. "Yeah, you got me. But you make the best nacho's man, I can't help but want them all the time. Do you think you could bring a plate of them over?" He pleads slightly causing me to sigh again walking into my kitchen opening the fridge to check if I have the ingredients.

"Alright, I'll bring you nacho's but you owe me dorkface. It's fucking freezing as hell outside and you know I am not exactly walking a short distance" I start pulling out the stuff for nacho's absentmindedly, I hear the jingle of what I can only presume is keys from the other end of the phone "I'll come to pick you up dude, got my mom's car" as soon as I have everything packed into a bag I close my fridge and open a cabinet pulling out a bag of chips. "Oh hell no, last time I let you drive me I was puking on the side of the road within minutes. I'd rather freeze my ass off then have a repeat of that"
