Harry seemed really excited the next morning, as did his friends. They seemed to get the same amount of happiness from these boxes as Harry did.
"Please will you tell me what they are Dray! I'm so curious! I think I might be more excited than Potter!" I laugh at Pansy's excitable squeal. She seems so captivated by this. I shake my head.
"Nope! You'll have to find out at the same time as Potter, the rest of the trio and everybody bloody else." I leave to tease my ebony-haired friend like this. It's just so funny. She pouts and sulks playfully.Once the usual mail routine has occurred Pansy and I say in the edge of our seats with bated breath to see today's reaction (and present in Pansy's case). Harry opened the box slowly today. Almost as if he was nervous, for some reason?
It was kind of personal, this one, but I was hoping it wouldn't be in a sad way? It was a felt flower lot that looked like a stag with a lily I had charmed to never die. I was hoping it would remind him of his parents, but in a sweet way.
Thankfully that was the way he took it, as his eyes swelled with tears. He laughed gently and strokes the petals of the flower and the antlers of the stag. Granger and Weasel seemed to be just as awestruck. Pansy hit my shoulder rather harshly.
"Draconius Lucius Malfoy! You are actually such a cinnamon roll! I can't believe you've managed to hide your adorableness for so long!" She whispered, but rather animatedly. It looked like Blaise wanted to comment but knew not to if he didn't want to face Pansy's wrath.Harry kept the plant out until he finished his breakfast, at which point I saw him scurry off with it rather quickly mumbling something about putting it safely in his room.
After some extensive (and rather impressive) spy work, Pansy managed to unroot the fact that said plant had pride and place on the windowsill of his dorm room.
