The next days of the week was fun. Exam week so we had to teach the children their lessons and did so many food trips I could count.

Friday.

Last day of exams. The kids said to have a group chat with them. They told me their plans. And to summarize that all I could say is park.blindfolds.beach and my lips are sealed.

Saturday.

I woke up early. I gathered all we need for today. This includes the bags with the surprise, a mat, a big umbrella and a handkerchief. I took a bath when I saw the clock. It was 6:30am. I am excited about this trip too. I was daydreaming in the showers and got to my senses when my phone rang. I took it. It was Ariyelle.

"Hey sweetie, dads in the shower. I'll call you later."

"Okay dad. I'm just checking,"

I rinsed off and got dressed in a jiffy. I wore my 'dad' t-shirt, the denim short and the slip on we bought last week. It was already 7am. I got the things we needed and head out of the house to my car. I put the bags in the car trunk. I called Ariyelle.

"Hey honey, I'm going to fetch you mom and then be there in 15. Could you text her to come out." I was running my hands through my hair.

"No can do. You do it dad. How can you live with this kind of relationship with her? Sheesh. Talk to her already." I started laughing. Ariyelle had a wits of an older girl for her age.

"Okay fine, I'll do it." I surrendered to her, because I know I can't win against this girl.

"Call her."

"nah. I'll just text her."

"Okay now. Bye dad. See you later."

I was kind of hesitant to send a text to Sabrina. But I have to do it.

"You ready?" is all I could muster to type. I hit send. Then few seconds later she replied. My heart leaped. She replied. Sabrina replied to my text. "Will be there in 5." She said.

I got the car roaring then parked it in front of Sabrina's house. I was waiting for her. I got my USB on my compartment and plugged it in my radio. I saw Sabrina was wearing the shirt, the shorts and the shoes we bought for her. 'Give me love' was playing when she climbed into the car. To tell you the truth the song was perfect for the moment.

"Give me love like never before. Cause lately I've been craving more. And it's been a while but I still feel the same. Maybe I should let you go."

Yes I still feel the same. Thank you Ed Sheeran. Thank you car. I can see she was all flustered on the passenger seat. I was amused and silently loving the moment. I was entertained at what the radio decided to play.

"UNI end it over UNI, and I said that fine, but you're the only one that knows I lied"

Yes I showed you I'm fine. Yes I was acting strong. And yes you know me long enough to know I'm lying.

Then the radio decided to play another song.

"Oh I'm a mess right now, inside out. Searching for a sweet surrender but this is not the end"

It was kind of interesting to see Sabrina uncomfortable. She was thinking. Then as soon as we were at Ariyelle's, she shouted.

"Can we just turn the music off?"

Hmmm. Interesting. I smirked. I couldn't help it. I turned the engine off. I was the first to go out of the car. Ariyelle was running towards me. I carried her.

"So how did you do it?" Ariyelle whispered.

"Texted her." I croaked.

We headed to the porch where Mr. and Mrs. Kydd gave us instructions and 2 baskets. Next stop was Flynn. i love the kid but I really am crept-out by her sister gushing over me. I am really approachable you see. But seems like she is kind of my stalker and I don't want somebody stalking me. She would send me text about her day and about her daydreams about me. I had read the first ones but when it crept me out I just delete it. She called me a few times. I answered the first because I didn't know who it was. But when I later knew it I blocked her number. She also emails me and send me Facebook messages. I blocked her from that too. But she made her ways. As soon as we were in the Gilbert's, I held Sabrina's hand. I looked at her. She looked at me too. I didn't even said a word but she understood. She nodded. We got out of the car. Before we walked towards the porch she held my waist. I put my arm around her shoulder. And in the other I held Ariyelle's hands. I looked at her and she was beaming a smile at me. I swear she was our little match maker.
