Sabrina didn't come to school the next day. I presume that the reason for it is the thing that happened yesterday. I asked Jer what happened to Sabrina but he too doesn't know what had gotten into her.
"I thought twins had this some kind of thing about knowing what's happening and stuff." I teased.
"We are not aliens." He responded.
The next day Sab didn't come to school either. I was a bit worried. I thought she might be sad or depressed or something. I was sitting on my chair for first period when Jer came. He sat on Sabrina's chair.
"Hey, did you know I practically kicked Derik out last night." He started. I frowned at him.
"How?" I asked him. I was interested at what he did.
"Well, I got home last night a bit late. Santana and I had a da-"
"Could you start the story where you kicked out Derik?" I cut him. He scowled at me.
"So yeah. I got home a bit late. I saw Sabrina and Derik at our living room couch. You know my mom wouldn't let Derik up to Sabrina's room." he laughed. I just looked at him. He stopped laughing when he saw me staring at him.
"Uhm, I stared at the both of them, especially to Sabrina. She said 'come on Jer, what is it?'" he was mimicking Sabrina's voice. "so I said with my most coolest voice I can 'So we are on speaking terms now?' then she didn't answer me so I told her about the assignments, the album, the prom invite, and I said that she might want to come to the studio." I sighed.
"So where is the part about kicking Derik out?" I asked. He looked at me amusingly. He smirked.
"So before I got up the stairs I looked at them again. I said to Derik 'Derik, it's a bit too late. You should go home. And yes I'm not being polite about it. I'm practically kicking you out. So go.'" He said proudly.
I looked at him in awe. Then I laughed. He laughed with me.
"Good work mate!" I told him. Then our teacher came. He stood up and got to his seat.
After a long day, Jer and I was on the parking.
"Hey Jer, can we hang out at your pad?" I asked.
"She's okay. No need to worry. But sure yeah." He knew I just wanted to see her.
Jer drove us to his pad. As soon as we were at their house we sat in the couch. We played Halo. Then few minutes later the doorbell rang. Jer managed to stand and opened the door. It was Derik on the door. Jer said Derik isn't welcome. Ha-ha. In your face jerk! Then Sabrina came to his rescue. She let him in and she's even prepared a snack for them. Jer and I gazed at her. Derik walked across the living room wearing his bemusing smile. I hated him.
"Not welcome at all." Jer shouted. I smirked but Sabrina shouted back. They were just in the kitchen talking for hours. We were sick of playing Halo so Jer suggested we should watch a movie. So we did. We were halfway through the movie when Derik and Sab went out the kitchen. Derik was leaving. They went out the door and it took Sabrina a few minutes before she went inside again.
Monday came. It was the day our album was out in the market. Sabrina got back to school again. As soon as the classes was over, I got to the nearest music shop and bought our album. I had one in my room already, I just want to buy it. It was our first. It was exciting to see our songs was in a CD and people were buying it. I went straight home after that.
The next day, everywhere I went there were students who asked me to sign on their CD. I was overwhelmed at the people approaching me.
The band and I were busy for the past few days. After school we have mall tours and autograph sessions. People were screaming. Night after night we saw lots of people. Some were familiar, some were new. It was a great experience for us meeting people around the state. We got tired but it was worth it.
