Lance you weren't a terrible I enjoyed our time together.”
“So you and Hunk?”
“Pssh he's taken has been for a year or two.”
“Come on you can't give up.”
“It's super one-sided I promise he's like straight and Shay is his soulmate or something.”
“What about James, he's super gay and has a thing for you.”
“What about you who you gonna go after?”
“Keith,” Lance had hesitated before replying.
“Ahh so you practically already have someone.”
“What?!? NO,” Lance pushed his swing Ryan laughed.
They chatted a little longer until it faded out and both their attention was pulled to stars.
“Hey Lance.”
“Hmm.”
“Good luck,” Ryan stood a soft smile printed on his face.
He walked home, tear stained cheeks staring at the stars, dark skin caressed by the chilled night air.
Lance was left on the swing, heart pumping, he knew it could stop at any given moment. He pondered how long he would put off getting with Keith. Or how long his heart would pound like it did that very moment. For a split second he wanted it to stop jump out and never come back his body to stay on the swing lifeless no longer functioning. The moment passed though and he started to question other things.
Eyes were opened to the plain sight of the wall. Ears welcomed the annoying sound of the alarm clock. Skin felt the soft baby blue sheets. Tongue awakened to the taste of a nice sleep. Nose abducted the smell of pancakes.
He groaned not wanting to go back to hell. But he did, and got dressed ate breakfast left grabbing his bag on the way out.
