Chapter 5

(Alex POV)

I ripped open the candy once Jack handed it to me. Jack and I missed out on eating this morning. I took a bite of the candy bar and looked up at Jack. He was holding a pregnancy test. What the fuck?! I couldn't stop staring at it. He got her pregnant? I watched as they walked away towards the bathroom. "Well, Jack isn't supposed to leave the table but we can't stop." Rian said. I nodded and turned back to face the crowd. I was in a daze. There goes my chance of ever being with Val. 

(Val POV)

Oh. My. Fucking. Gosh. I stared down at the little symbol. "Thank god!" I shouted. I wasn't pregnant. I threw the test in the garbage and threw my arms around Jack. "Thank god." he repeated. I was so glad I wasn't pregnant. I still had no idea why I wasn't feeling good. Jack pulled away and kissed me. When we pulled away for air he pulled me back into a hug. I grabbed Jack's hand and walked back to the tent. I was smiling. I was so relieved I wasn't pregnant. Jack couldn't be a dad. He was still so childish, which I loved, but he couldn't care for a baby. We sat back down at the table. "Well?" Alex was the first to speak. I looked over at him and smiled. "It was negative." He grinned. "That's great!" I nodded and the guys went to signing things for their fans.

Warped Tour was finally over and it was almost my birthday. I was turning twenty-one. The guys were going to throw me a party. When I got home from Warped Tour I told my brother about Jack. He was pissed. "Why did you wait so long to tell me?" he asked. "I knew you were going to get mad!" I said. "Well yeah! You know how I feel about Jack." he sighed. "He's not a bad guy." I frowned. My brother was mostly mad about the age difference which wasn't that big. "You guys could be friends!" I say and he just shook his head. "I don't like you dating someone who is my age!" It was a little weird but I didn't care.

"Mason. I love him." His eyes widen. "Love? How long have you guys been dating?"  I probably shouldn't of said that but too late now. "A few months." I say and he sighed. "Valerie...." I cut him off. "He love's me too. He's real sweet to me." I smiled. "Please give him a chance." I pleaded. He sighed then nodded. I smiled and hugged him. I walked upstairs and turned some music. I started to unpack my things. After all of my things were put away I grabbed some booty shorts and a tank top and changed into them. I climbed into my bed and quickly fell asleep. 

The next morning I woke up and saw my brother. "Happy birthday!" he shouted and I grinned. "Thanks!" He smiled. "I invited Jack over to join us for breakfast." I smiled. He was going to try and get to know Jack. "Thanks Mason." I got out of bed and hugged him. I quickly fixed my hair and went downstairs. 

Jack was sitting on the couch but as soon as he seen me he hopped up. "Happy birthday babe!" he shouted. I grinned and hugged him. "Thanks." I said and he kissed my cheek. He wasn't going to kiss me in front of my brother, he was trying to look good. I grinned. We all walked into the kitchen and ate my birthday breakfast which was chocolate chip pancakes.

"That was yummy!" I said after I finished eating my pancakes. My day was off to a great start. "Mason can you be nice to Jack while I'm in the shower." I asked and he nodded. I kissed Jack's cheek then walked upstairs. After a nice hot shower I wrapped a towel around my body and made my way to my room. I got dressed in a pair on jean shorts and a plain white v-neck shirt. I blow dried my hair then straightened it. I loved when my hair was straight. I applied some make up then walked back downstairs. Jack and Mason were sitting on the couch talking. I smiled and sat next to Jack. "I used to play the guitar when I was a teenager." Mason said. He had given that up a few years ago. "Oh really? Why did you stop play?" Jack asked. "I went into depression when our parents died and just stopped playing." he frowned.
