Chapter 11

(Jack POV)

"Holy shit!" I quickly shoved the ring into my pocket and stood up. I wrapped my arm around her and took her hand in mind. I quickly lead her off the pier and to my car. I got her into the car then I climbed in. I started driving to the hospital. Once we got to the hospital I practically jumped out of the car and got Val out. I lead her into the hospital. "Her water broke!" I shouted. I was panicking. "Don't panic Jack." she said. I got her into a wheelchair and the doctors took her away. I quickly followed after them.

(Val POV)

I was taken to an empty room and they put me on the bed. I was starting to have contractions. "Ahh!" I screamed in pain. "What's wrong?!" Jack shouted. "She's having contractions." The doctor told him. "Just breathe." the doctor told me. "Yeah. Breathe." Jack said and ran his fingers through his hair. After about two hours the doctor came in. "You're ready for the epidural." I sighed in relief. "It's about fucking time!" I was pissed. It's not pleasant going through two hours of contractions. Plus dealing with Jack who was freaking out. He's been pacing back and forth.

After the doctor gave me the epidural I felt a hundred times better. I sighed. "Jack please stop pacing back and forth." He stopped and walked over to me. "I'm sorry." he held my hand. "How are you doing?" he asked. "Better now." I smiled. He smiled. "That's good." he kissed me. I busted into tears. "I'm so scared Jack." I sobbed. He stroked my head. "It's gonna be fine." he said. "No it's not!" I shouted. "These contractions hurt like hell! And the pain is just gonna get worse!" I wiped my tears. "Babe. I'll be right here. You just squeeze my hand." he said then kissed me. I nodded. "Alright."

About three hours passed. "You're ready to push." the doctor. I looked at Jack, his eyes were widen. I laughed and grabbed his hand. "Okay. Push." The doctor said. I took a deep breathe and started pushing and squeezing Jacks hand. "Ughh..." I groaned as I pushed. I pushed for what seemed like forever but was only an hour before the doctor saw the head. "I see the head!" I smiled and started pushing harder. "Oh my gosh!" Jack shouted in excitement. After a few more push minutes of pushing the baby was out.

I sighed in relief when I heard a baby's cry and tears were streaming down my face. Jack cut the umbilical cord and the doctor took him to get cleaned off. After he was cleaned off the doctor handed me JJ. I smiled. "He's so beautiful." I whispered and lightly kissed the top of his head. I couldn't believe I had just given birth to this beautiful baby. I looked at Jack. "He looks just like you." Jack grinned. "Let me get a picture of you two." he said then took a picture with his phone. "I'm gonna send it to the guys." he grinned and sent the picture to the guys. The doctor offered to take a picture of all three of us so we did. I looked at the picture and cried. "Our family." I said. Jack kissed me. "Wanna hold him?" I asked Jack and he nodded. Jack took JJ from me and smiled. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of him holding JJ.

Minutes the doctor came in. "We need to take JJ to get checked out to make sure everything is okay with him." he took JJ and left. I looked at Jack smiling. "I love him." I said and tears streamed down my face. Jack grinned at me. "I love him too." He kissed me. I picked up my phone and texted my brother.

Me: JJ was born at 2:14 a.m 7 pounds 1 ounce.

I didn't expect him to respond since it was two in morning. But Jack's phone did ring. "Do you mind if the guys come up?" he asked. I shook my head and smiled. "Tell them I don't mind." I said. My phone buzzed.

Mason: Oh my gosh! Congrats! Mind if I come up there?

Me: Nope come on up! :)

Mason: I'll be there in a few!

I put my phone down. A few minutes later the guys arrived. They had balloons and teddy bears. I smiled. "Hey guys." Rian was the first to come up to me. "Hey Val. How you feelin'?" he asked. "Surprisingly I'm good." I smiled. "Thanks for coming." Zack came up to me next. "Congrats." he smiled. "Thanks." I smiled at him. Alex was last to come up. "Congrats." he said forcing a smile. I smiled at him. "Thanks." He looked down then at Jack. "Where's the baby?" he asked. "Getting checked out to make sure everything is fine." he said. After a few minutes Mason arrived, he had balloons too. I smiled. "Hey Mason." He walked up to me. "How you feeling?" he asked. "I'm doing good." I smiled. "Where's the baby?" he asked. "The doctor is checking him to make sure everything is fine." I told him.
