Chapter 14

(Val POV)

The last few months flew by. It was October. It was my wedding day. I smiled at myself in the mirror. Today was my last day as Valerie Miller. I was going to become Valerie Barakat. Jack had left before I woke up to go to Alex's since he could'nt see the bride on our wedding day. I turned away from the mirrow and to my cousin Abby. She was my maid of honor. It was only her, Jack's sister May, and Cassadee. Jack's best man, more like men, were of course Alex, Zack, and Rian. "Should I start getting ready?" I asked and she nodded. "I'll go get your dress." Abby said then left. Cassadee and May walked into the room. "Do you need anything?" Cassadee asked. I shook my head. "Not that I know of." I said and gave them a smile.

Hours passed and it was almost time to walk down the isle. I paced back and forth. I was nervous. Oh my gosh. I can't believe I'm about to get married. I never thought I'd be getting married at twenty-two. But I loved Jack and wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. Abby walked into my room. "Come on Val. It's time." I had butterflies in my stomach. I followed her out of the room. Jack had just walked up the isle and stood at the alter smiling. Alex and Abby were the next people to walk out. Next was Rian and Cassadee. Then it was Zack and May. Then it was time for my. Here comes the bride started playing. Everyone stood up. Mason walked up to me and we linked arms. I wish my dad would be the one walking me down the isle. We started walking down the isle. Everyone was smiling and taking pictures. I grinned the minute I saw Jack. He looked so great in that tux. He even had a mohawk. He was staring back at me grinning.

Mason led my too him and I stepped on the alter. I smiled at Jack and he was smiling back. "You look beautiful." he whispered and I blushed. After what seemed like forever it was time for the vows. "Val. Since the day I met you I've loved you. It took me almost three years to tell you but I finally did. With the help of Alex." he smirked. I smiled. "And when I finally told you I loved you I was scared you would choose Alex. But you choose me." he grinned. Awe I didn't know he was scared I didn't love him. "And the day I found out you were pregnant was the greatest days of my life. I was so happy I was going to be a dad." I was almost in tears. I just wanted to hug him. "I love you Val." he said. I smiled and tried my best not to cry. It was my turn. "Jack I've always had a crush on you ever since I was a teenager. It took me a while to find out that I actually but I do love you. You are a great friend, an amazing boyfriend, and you are going to be a wonderful husband. I love you so much Jack." I said as tears streamed down my face. Good thing I had water proof make up on. Jack was grinning at me and I grinned back. "Jack, do you take Valerie to be your wife, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?" the minister asked. "I do." Jack said smiling. "Valerie, do you take Jack to be your husband, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?" I grinned. This was it. "I do." I said. "By the power invested in me. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." the minister said. Jack wrapped him arms around me and kissed me. I kissed him back passionately. Jack pulled away and cupped my face in his hands. We stared into each others eyes. "I love you Mrs.Barakat." he grinned. I grinned. "I love you Mr.Barakat." I kissed him again. I was Valerie Barakat.

Even tho I always imagined myself as Valerie Gaskarth I was happy. I never thought I'd ever marry anyone from All Time Low. Jack was great and I loved him so much. I was so excited to start my life with him. After dinner I stood up. "I have an announcement." I said grinning. Jack and I had a little secret and we wanted to wait until today to share it. Jack stood up next to me and grinned. "I'm pregnant!" I said and everyone awed. I was about only two months along. It took a couple of tries before I actually got pregnant. Jack wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, he was grinning. We were going to be parents again. I was excited.

Seven months passed. Jack and I were enjoying our lives as a married couple. I was enjoying that fact that we were about to have a baby. My water broke and I was on my way to the hosptial. I looked at Jack and smiled. I had only been about a year since JJ died. Which means a year ago I went through this and now I'm about to go through it again. "Are you ready for this again?" Jack asked and I nodded. "I can't wait." I grinned. We decided to not find out the gender until it was born.

Finally after ten long hours our baby was born. It was a girl. We named her Lacey Ann after my mom.

That was the beginning of our long happy life as a family.
