The rain was becoming harsher with every passing minute,while the wind was merciless,casting it's wrath on the surrounding.
Victoria felt stupid,why had she run behind that paper?Damn it!She now felt more dumbwitted since she was seeking shelter under a tree.Who did that?
She decided that it was safer to run back to the station than stand under a tree whose, branches seemed like it would come hurling down any second.So she started down along the lane,and ran as fat as she could hoping that she was heading to the main road as she could not see where she was going.
when the rain started to recede,she looked around to figure out where she had ended up again.She was astonished to see,nothing.She could see nothing but mist. Oakenfield was a town in the central highlands,where after a heavy rain, mist was a common occurrence.
She sighed helplessly and continued to walk a few steps until a rustle in the grass stopped her.Victoria listened quietly,he heartbeat rising.
"footsteps," she whispered to herself.
"Hello!"She called into the mist,while looking around.
"Hello!Is anyone there?"
The footsteps seemed to get closer.There was no other sound,no answer to her questions.When Victoria's fear reaching its peak,'BOOM!" echoed the sound of thunder.
Her flight response took over as she screamed and made a run for it.She could hear footsteps behind her and suddenly her shoulder was pulled back,she lost her balance and landed painfully on the ground.
Victoria struggled to get up and then she froze.She felt someone behind her,her mind was shouting at her to run,but her muscles refused to listen to her.She turned behind to look,when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Cold" was the only coherent thought she had, as a searing pain shot through her head.The pain was so intense that she felt her head would burst,she screamed in agony and finally when she couldn't hold on any longer,oblivion claimed her.
