"Lina, what should we do with this?" Doon asks her in the pipeworks after just having found the way out.
"We should tell the mayor," Lina clearly states.
"But we can't trust that thing, he's awful!" Doon replies seriously, like the boy he has always been.
"Doon, please. Who else has control over the whole of Ember to get everyone organised?" Lina pleads with him. Looking into her brown eyes that he knows so well, he can't say no to her.
"Alright." So with that, the pair set off in search of the mayor who will organise the leaving of Ember.
