Michelle attacked the violin with fury, trying to put out all the angry she was feeling. She felt her fingers aching, her gritted jaw was starting to disturber her, that suddenly shouted with indignation and let the instrument fall down. She got up and went until the wall, tearing up every picture of Caio that was there.
“How could he break up with me and say that I was distant? I’m the one who always called, sent e-mails and everything! Some slut must be involved in this whole thing.” This thought was passing by Michelle’s head in an inverted looping.
That and the image of the eyes of the boy. Suddenly her stomach made a noise, remembering her to eat something. She took a look at the oven, seeing a pizza in there, and remembered of the mess she had done and decided to clean it up first. She putted it all in a plastic bag and went out without caring about her – awesome – pajama with a cow pattern. When she was reached the door again, she realized a boy starring at her with curiosity. She blush realizing his funny look and she was coming in, but he called her:
“Hey, wait, wait!” She opened the door again, and saw his face turn into a smile. “Hi, I’m Alex, and I live in the other apartment. You’re the violinist?” She nodded and he continued “So, we can hear your music, and it sounded like you’re not ok. Do you want to talk?”
Kindness coming from two strangers? Ok.
“Sure. Only if you share a pizza with me.” “Why not?” He asked, sitting on the floor. She went to the kitchen and came back with the pizza, Coke and two glasses. Sitting next to him, she served the two of them. “So, miss, you will tell me your name or I’ll have to addres you as the girl-in-the-cow-pijamas?” She laughed and said “It’s Michelle, but you can call me Mich.”*
Alex choked on the Coke, and Michelle sent him a worried look. “Michelle?” He thought “It can’t be the same girl. What are the chances?” “Alex, are you ok?” She asked “Yes, I’m fine, it’s just… I don’t know what happened.” She offered him a slice of pizza, and they started to eat. Between a bite and another, Michelle ended up telling everything about Caio, and Alex could notice the girl’s sadness. “Where are your friends?” “They went out with their boyfriends. They’ll probably come home tomorrow in the afternoon.” “And left you all alone here?” “I don’t care. I’m in London for such a small time, and I don’t know anyone in here.” “Well, you know me now.” He said, and she smiled. “Tomorrow morning I’m going out with a few friends. Wanna come?” She bitted her slice of pizza once again, and chewed it while reflected. “Well, I don’t see a problem.” “We’re going to a park near. I’ll knock on your door and we’ll go, ok?” “Sure.” “If you realize that we’re a bunch of nerds, don’t run away.” She laugh. “No, it’s ok. Nerds are cute.”
After a few minutes, Alex decided to go back to the apartment. He wasn’t sure if it was the same girl, and he didn’t knew if he should talk about her to Charlie. If it wasn’t, he would be disappointed. But, if it was… Well, in this case, destiny was really a strange thing. They lived in the same building for months and never saw each other, he just knew that a violinist lived in the apartment next door. So, they met in some random street.
“Good night, Alex.”She got up clumsily. “Good night, Michelle. Can you promise me something?” “What?” “Don’t feel bad about this guy.” With a slight smile, she answered:
“Ok. I promise.”

Michelle went to bed thinking about everything that happened in one Day and didn’t knew if everything was really happening too fast. For a moment, she caught herself remembering about his touch in her hand, and she as smiling.
“Please, Michelle! Is a complete stranger that you’ll never see again. Plus, you just broked up with your boyfriend. Settle down! Take this opportunity to focus more on the guitar. You need to get this thing.” She thought mad to herself, before falling asleep.

Alex walked in to the apartment. What should he do? He didn’t knew if she was the right girl… In an impulse, he opened his friend’s bedroom door, and took some time to get used to the lack of light. “Err, Charlie?” “Yes?” Answered the muffled voice coming from under the blankets. “Are you all right?” “Sure, why?” “Oh, nothing.” Alex said with an ironic note on his voice. “So, I met the violinist.” “Really? What happened?” “Nothing, we were just sitted on the floor eating pizza.” “Oh, right.” Charlie answered with indifference. “So, Charlie, you’re coming with us tomorrow, right? She’s coming too.” “Alex, I don’t know. I need to make a new vídeo.” The other one rolled his eyes. “Right. Your choise. Good night.” While Alex walked into the bathroom, he thought about the whole thing.
“I tried to make them seeing each other, but… Well, Charlie’s the one who’s turning his back to what may be destiny. About this, there’s nothing I can do.”
