It has been a week since the event and he had been dreaming about her every night. In his dreams they were both in his bed and he was making some intense love to her. She was screaming out his name passionately as he thrusts inside of her continuously and planting his seed inside her. He was planting soft kisses all over her body and would gently suck her nipples until they were hard and stiff, and she be begging him not to stop. He would wake up in the middle of night hard and unable to go back to sleep. He wanted her so bad and it hurts him so much, that he would find himself masturbating or jerking off to release himself.

There were some nights, of course, where he would have nightmares about her leaving him for another man. He cried out after her begging her to stay, but she flat out refused and walk out on him kissing another man in front of him. It was history repeating itself all over again. Those nights, he would wake up with second thoughts. What if she was like his previous lover? What if she's not and she's the one for him? But what if he let her in his life and everything goes wrong? What then? Being hurt once was enough for him, especially the feelings of being betrayed by the two people he loved most.

"You're overthinking again," his friend Robert says to him bringing him back from dreamland. Robert, Keith and he go way back since their fathers are best friends. The three of them grew up together and are like brothers. "Dude, if you can't help but think of the girl all the time up to the point where you can't even sign on the proper line," Robert says sliding the paper towards his direction showing that he signed in the wrong spot, "I'd say you just need to go out with her and see where this goes."

"Bro, you should have seen her. She was so damn gorgeous and when I saw the lustful looks all those damn men had, I just wanted to gauge their eyes out. Luckily, I didn't. Maybe you're right."

"Of course, I am. When am I never right?"

"Like that one time—"

"Okay," Robert says cutting AD off not wanting him to go down a whole list. "But dude, if she's a friend of Keith and Hayley she must be a wonderful person."

"She is," AD says.

She sighs as she goes through the submitted articles making changes and comments on them. For six years now, she's been with Pink Lady. She started out as an intern during her third year of college. At the end of her internship, she got a job offer to write a new section. It was really easy, all she had to do was select a few stories from young readers and respond to them. Most of the times it was sex stories, young girls asking for relationship advices, but she enjoys reading stories about families and life experiences. At first, she was worried as she's never been in a relationship before let alone never been kissed in her entire life, but the new section became a major hit. She was just writing what she wanted to write and these young girls, including older women, likes to read what she wrote. They were all about the fantasies, forget reality.

After graduating, she drafted out a new section called Women Works, the whole idea was to interview businesswomen about their career. Instead of focusing on the already famous ones, she went with women who had a good reputation in their respective home town but was still growing. Those women soon became famous. It wasn't until she was twenty-four that she became the assistant editor after the old one was transferred to the newly opened second branch in Washington DC.

"Stephanie your interview is in ten minutes. Everything is ready and good to go."

"Thanks, Becky," she says as she grabs her laptop and both her phones. One phone is, of course, her everyday phone, while the other is her older phone and she now only use it to record interviews. Becky is a fresh college graduate that got hired six months ago as a writer. As she walks into the room, she does one final check with all the equipment. Everything was good and working right. Just then she turns around as she hears voices outside.

"Stephanie, your interview is here. Let me introduce Mr. Aviv Diaab Rahul, or also known as AD Rahul, the CEO of Aliya & Designs Incorporation," Giselle, the chief editor, says. Stephanie's jaws drop as she hears his name coming out of Giselle's mouth. Turning around she shyly gives him a small wave trying to wash away the memories of what happened during the night of the auction.

"It's good to see you again Stephanie," AD says casually offering her a handshake.

"Same here," she says managing to keep a straight face as she takes his hand. He tightens his grips around her soft small hand as she tries to pull away.

"You two already met," Giselle says with a smile.

"At the Ingram's Fundraiser Gala," he says finally letting go of Stephanie's hand, but not breaking eye contact with her. He eyes her in her midi bodycon grey skirt paired with a black crop top, white Adidas shoes, and her long black hair in beachy waves.

"That's good to know," Giselle exclaims, "Girl why didn't you tell me you went, you should have! Anyway, since you two are already well acquainted I'm gonna leave you two be and get this interview started. Meanwhile, it was nice to see you again AD, but I'm going to go pick up my children from school now," she says with a happy smile.

"Nice to see you again Giselle, tell your three kids I say hi," he says with a smirk. She laughs at the mention of her three kids, anyone who knows her, and her family knows that she's raising not two, but three kids.

"Oh, and Stephanie, on Monday I want to hear about everything. Bye now!"

"Bye," Stephanie manages to mutter as Giselle walks out. Of course, now Giselle wants to know about everything that happened at the Gala!
