"What is it Gabriella," she says opening the door, but to her surprise, it was someone else. "What do you want," she says.

"Can I come in?"

"No," she exclaims as she tries to close her door, but manages to force his way in. "Be glad I'm not going to call the cops on you for forcing your way in."

"Why not?"

"Because for one I know you're not going to try anything stupid on me and second I can just call Keith."

"Look I just want a chance to explain my actions. Can you hear me out?"

"Go ahead."

After hearing his explanation, which she thinks is still stupid they both sit in awkward silence once again. As much as she hates his action and words from the other night, she hates this awkward silence even more. The only sounds in the room are the sounds of their spoons swirling and clanking against the porcelain cups that she filled with homemade honey lemon citron tea. He studies her face and every gesture hoping that she'll say something. Anything. He sighs heavily as he can't tell if she's still upset or not. She did offer him tea, that could mean she's not upset then again it might just be the Asian in her trying to be nice and polite to him. But for one, she didn't call Keith so maybe she's not upset?

"What are we?" she asks breaking the silence. "One minute we're going on mini dates and we even kiss. Next minute, I'm your friend. Then next minute you're bombing my phone with text messages and voicemails repeating how sorry you are and how you want to fix things between us. Are you playing a game with me? Because if you are, then I'm not interested and to be honest with you I've got too much time on my hands to go around moping about a heartbreak that hasn't even happened yet."

"I'm not playing games with you," he says, "I'm a human being and just like you, I need time figuring out the problems floating around my own head. Unlike you, I've had many relationships in the past and for once, the only time I thought I found the one, I was wrong and that left me in the dark. Meeting you was the best thing that had happened to me so far and many times I think about how I want to progress things with you, officially claim you so that no other men will look at you lustfully, but I couldn't because of the hurt I've felt and experienced before. Call me a coward if you want, but I don't want to get so high up and then fall too deep. But maybe, Keith was right all along. I can't play safe and slow with you," he says as he gets up to lean towards her direction and lifts her chin up planting a soft and passionate kiss on her lips. "Shall we date," he whispers as he slowly breaks away.
