She sighs as she looks around all the people in their fancy suits and gowns. Gina pokes her in the arm, meaning "hey lighten up it's going to be a good article." AD had asked her to cover his mom's fundraising event. After reading her article on AD's interview, his mom wanted her to cover the event, believing that she will just as good. For the past two years, she had traveled around in Middle East finding young talented girls who has a passion for art. These young girls ran away from home after being forced to marry someone they didn't know or getting sexually harassed. After meeting them and recognizing their talents, she gathered the best of their artworks to auction it off to raise funds and hopefully raise awareness.

"Smile," Giselle whispers to her, "it'll be over soon," she says knowing that Stephanie doesn't like such events.

"Good evening Giselle," AD says but lays his eyes on Stephanie who's wearing a periwinkle pantsuit with beige pumps.

"Good evening AD, it'd help if you were actually looking at me," Giselle says in a joking tone.

"I'm sorry," he says with a chuckle. "You both look beautiful."

"Oh no please," Giselle says, "We can't compare to these beautiful ladies who are dazzling in their gowns tonight."

"I'm being real," he says, "you both look beautiful," he says smiling at Stephanie.

"Well if you insist," Giselle says while winking at Stephanie who rolls her eyes in disbelief.

"AD," a girl says loudly as she walks over and locks one arm around his elbow.

"Yuri," he says with a fake smile.

"I was looking all over for you and here you are with company," she says as she smiles at Giselle and then turns to Stephanie.

"Nice to see that you're doing well Stephanie," Yuri says with a fake innocent smile.

"Nice to see you too," she replies simply and walks off.

"Sorry, got to go. Works call you know," Giselle says with a smile.

As she goes around taking pictures and making notes, she lets out a deep sigh. When Giselle had sent her the list of all the attendees a few days ago, she had insisted on letting a junior writer go instead. However, Giselle wouldn't let her, saying that she had already taken on the job, so it was her duty. She tried to get sick but her damn immune system had to work so well when she doesn't want it too.

Seeing Stephanie walks off, AD wonders what the relationship between Stephanie and Yuri really is. He wanted to go after Stephanie but couldn't as Yuri was with him and he had promised to keep Yuri company. She is the daughter of one of his dad's best friend from South Korea. She's around the same age as Stephanie, if his math is correct, they're only a few months apart. He's known Yuri for the most part of his life and she's well-liked by everyone she comes across.

After the auction, Stephanie steps outside to get some fresh air with Giselle. They talked for a bit until Giselle went back in to use the restrooms. Standing in front of the water fountain and deciding to take a picture of it, the one voice she doesn't want to hear made her clench her jaws.

"So, you're just going to ignore me?"

"Leave me alone if you just want trouble."

"Why? I ask because I care," she replies with a smirk.

"You ask because you don't care, and other people's misery is your happiness."

"Of course, I do care," Yuri says, "I care a whole lot since we were once upon a time best friends. but obviously, you don't anymore," she says as she walks closer to Stephanie.

"Why would I care about your skanky ass?"

"Because we were friends."

"I guess the key word here is 'were.' We were friends until your ass stabbed us in the back. You betrayed Adeline and you know how much that hurt her?"

"Was she now? Well, I know I'm like three years late, but I'm sorry that Evan decided to choose me over her. Guess, she wasn't good enough for him. Just like how you're not good enough for AD," she says with a smirk as she pushes Stephanie into the fountain causing everyone that was outside to turn heads their way. "Oh my gosh are you okay, let me help you." She says putting on an act, but Stephanie pulls her right into the fountain. "You're going to pay for this," she whispers to Stephanie. "Help, someone help," Yuri cries out.

Suddenly she felt two huge arms wrapped around her waists and lifting her out of the fountain away from Yuri, who was busy crying. Fighting to get out, she realizes that Yuri was in AD's embrace, turning around she sees Keith holding her with a horrify look on his face and Giselle quickly rushing out.

"AD," Yuri says through her fake sobs, "I was trying to help her when she accidently fall in, but sh-sh-she though I pushed her. I tried to explain but she didn't listen to me. I tried to gasp for air when she held me down, but she was just too strong."

"It's okay Yuri, I'm here," he says soothing her and then glares up AD.

"What's the matter, "Giselle says knowing that there is a reason for Stephanie's action.

"She pushed me into the water," Stephanie says.

"I didn't. You backed away and lost balance. And tried to help you, b-b-but you thought I pushed you. I was only trying to help. Someone, please, someone must've seen it. Please, please," Yuri says.

"I saw it, Yuri didn't push her," an onlooker says. AD looks at Stephanie in disbelief and she saw the disappointment in his eyes.

"AD, I really didn't-"

"Stephanie," he says, "I've known Yuri since she was little, she would never do something like that. And Ashton's sister wouldn't lie to me," he says referring to the onlooker that spoke out. "You need to apologize to Yuri for your rash actions." She looks at him and then to Yuri was still putting on an act.

"It's okay AD," Yuri says, "I'm okay. She doesn't have to apologize."

"No, she has too. You're my guest and she's a friend of mine who acted in haste," he says looking at Stephanie seeing the disappointment in her eyes.

"What's going on," AD's parents say coming through the crowds and then she looks over to see him.

"Yuri," he says rushing to his daughter, "what happened?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Han," AD says, "I apologize for my friend's action."

"Who did this to you," Mr. Han says to Yuri who can only shake her head acting in fear and shock. He then looks up to meet eyes with Stephanie and let out a sigh of relief.

"Stephanie, it's nice to see you," he says getting an idea of what must have really happened as he stares over to his daughter who is ignoring him.

"Hello Mr. Han," she says, "Sorry about pushing you into the fountain," she says glaring at Yuri who is still clinging onto AD's body for warmth. She narrows her eyebrows as she sees AD wrapping his one of his arms around Yuri. The jealousy boiling inside her and how she just wants to go over and pull them apart. Then slap him across his stupidly handsome face to knock some sense into him because he's only listening to one side of the story. "It was nice to see you again Mr. Han," she says as she gets out of Keith's grasp and walks away.

"Stephanie," AD calls out after her. "You should change into some dry clothes or you're going to catch a cold."

"I'll be fine," she says in an annoying voice turning around to face him, "besides you should tend to your little girlfriend."

"Steph-"

"Good night everyone," she says as she turns to walk away.

"AD," Keith says, "Where are the security cameras?"
