so its finally christmas today and its Olivers second christmas. We have been hoping that he will say his first words for a while but he hasn't yet. Hopefully today we will have a christmas miracle and he will say them. We are all up and Lola is making breakfest while I sit with Ollie and play with him and give him his breakfest while Lola makes ours. After Ollie had his breakfest I sat him in the bouncer in the living room while we ate. When I walked back in and Lola put breakfest on the table
"thanks babe" i say
"your welcome where's Oliver she says
"in the bouncer" i say
"oh is that so we can talk on our own" she says
"yeah and eat our breakfest" i say
we eat up and then time for presents Lola sits Oliver in her lap and we start to give our presents
"here babe, Merry christmas" she says kissing my cheek
"babe you didn't have to get me anything I had my birthday yesterday I didn't need this too" i say
"i know but I thought it would be nice and also even if it was your birthday its still christmas" she says
"well in that case, thanks babe I love you" i say giving her a hug which she returned
"your welcome and I love you too" she says smiling
when I opened it. it was my favourite colonge of all time she knew but how
"how did you know this was my favourite" i say
"i asked your mum she said you always used to wear it and then couldn't find it after a while" she says
"thank you so much this is the best present ever" i say kissing her on the lips and then pulled away
"your welcome" she says
I gave her a pandora bracelet with a charm thats says I love you and also has a L on it. she loved it and I loved mine. While we sat there and cuddled we heard Oliver say something but just brushed it off. Then he said it again
"m-mummy" he said
i looked at Lola and she picked him up
"he said his first word" she says
"I know say it again Ollie" i say
"mummy" he says
"and whats my name" i say
"d-daddy" he says
"he can say mummy and daddy" Lola says with near tears in her eyes
"aww babe" i say giving her a hug
"its his first words oh my god" she says
we recored him saying his first words and sent it to my mum and she was over the moon.
we had everyone round and everything will be perfect, life is perfect
