Another day at work was done. Julia stared at her computer making sure the letter was complete and then exited the window. The memory from yesterday was still fresh in her mind from yesterday and how could it not stay, his intense gaze, his touch. She shook her head. These days she could definitely say that she felt like she was going crazy. One look at her watch and she got up. This was it finally, the weekend thank God. Her legs led her up and she turned stretching her arms, tonight, oh tonight. Erin and her were going to Par…ty. After days that seemed like months she was finally going to go out and it seemed right. Ever since Mr. Gabriel had been busy with Ms. Elitist she had actually had some free time for once. It felt weird sometimes because she knew she was busy most times but those times had been fun. Now times when Erin was busy she was free and had nothing to do, but that would all change tonight.
“Uh hem,” someone cleared their throat. Julia froze mid-stretch. “Are you done,” his cold voice came. She inhaled and then dropped her arms and turned around. “I am,” she replied throatily. If she was going out for a night to enjoy might as well start with the person who made her feel downright down. She smiled pulled her bag and walked past him. At the exit she turned and stared back. He was looking at her just as she thought. “Have a good weekend Boss,” she smirked and saw his jaw tighten. She laughed and walked on.
Gabriel’s POV
My eyebrows furrowed as I looked at her. “What the Heck that damn woman, why is it every time I do something she keeps coming into my mind!” I started as she stopped at the door and threw those seductive words at me. “Why was she baiting me, heck she was pregnant and for heaven’s sake she should not even try that not to any man especially him. Did she know that? His eyes lingered on her legs long, smooth and sexy as they walked across the room, up they went taking in her every step until she turned and drew out those words that made a part of him awake. He followed her to the door as she left and continued watching her as she left down the hall.
His jaw tightened and he stood his ground. “That Damn woman why did she do those things to him, he thought of the past days and his face grew red. He had expected her to be far from seductive after all it had been awhile since he began coming in with Erica who though was far from any girl he would like provided a great distraction that he needed. But still the woman crept under his skin making him feel, think things he was holding back from. He gripped the table and stared across the room. His gaze lingered across the buildings heck he needed some time to get away from this, he had thought of firing her but he could not, not after he had run the background check on her. She needed a job and he could not just let her go, somewhere within him something held back. He would not let her go not until she quit.
