Julia yawned as she made her way through the double doors at work and into the inner office. “Had it been only yesterday that she had had dinner with Gabriel’s mom and then her lips contracted when she thought about Abel.” After a shake of her head she swung open the doors and entered. “Good morning Julia,” a light almost flirty voice called out. She smiled, her cheeks growing red as she answered. “Good morning sir.” “Sir?” his voice returned. She smiled. Her feet led her forward and she closed the distance. She pushed him back a little and pulled her herself on the desk before he stood up. “Yes sir,” she replied. He stood over her towering, his blue eyes boring into the silken shirt she had on. “You shouldn’t do that Ms. you don’t know what those words do to a man when he’s thinking of you the way I am thinking,” he finished. “Oh really,” she said. He nodded, his hands reaching out and capturing her shoulders. She leaned into him and pouted. “What if this woman likes it,” she said.
“Ohh so you like me being the boss and you my pet,” he asked. She moaned and pulled his collar closer. “I like many things,” she said. She tugged him closer now. Their bodies were mere inches as his hands left her shoulders and started pulling her up more. She moaned as his lips found hers. His kiss was soft, sweet and fervent. She leaned into him, pulling his tie closer before his hands started unbuttoning her blouse. His tongue lashed out making her moan even louder before he broke away. “Come here,” she called. He smirked that stupid smirk before pushing up her skirt and pulling her to him so that her legs surrounded him. “You tease,” she bit out. “I know you love every minute of it,” he said capturing her lips. She sighed and closed her eyes as his hands worked magic on her body. “Tell me how much you want this,” he whispered. She groaned. “I want you,” she rasped out. He pressed his hand to her back pulling her into him. “Is that all,” he asked. “You’re the devil,” she cried. He smirked. “Tell me.” “I need you,” she moaned as his lips found her neck, “Please.” His hands caressed her stomach and dipped lower.
“Beep! Beep! Beep!” Julia’s eyes shot open. “Had it been a dream. Her hands roved over the bed beside her before she was finally awake. “Of course it had to be but it had felt so real and so good,” she blushed as she thought about it. A swift look to her alarm and she sprang out of bed. If she continued thinking she would definitely be late for work. After a quick shower and getting dressed she drank down some coffee and ate a buttered bagel before heading out. About thirty minutes after she was striding through the same double doors she had dreamed about. Her cheeks grew red as she pushed open the inner office door. “Good morning Julia,” his voice rang out. It must have been from the way he said it, perfectly like he had seen what she had dreamt or the sheer coincidence, she froze. “Um Good morning,” she replied before claiming the courage to look up. He was seated in his chair staring at her. “Well…” he continued. She smiled awkwardly before her feet led her towards her seat.
“I’ve got something to announce lunchtime,” he said and she nodded her face still beet red. “Are you ok?” he asked concerned. “I’m fine,’ she replied. She could feel his pale blue gaze searching her face as she set down her bag and picked up her files. “Great um I’m going to talk to the mailers I’ll be back soon and then I’ll call the meeting ok,” he asked. She nodded and kept her head down. Five minutes later and he was out of the office. She breathed a sigh of relief at his exit and then settled back. “Boy did she feel awkward.” Getting to her work should keep her mind occupied. She grabbed her stack of files and waited for her computer to start. Today was going to be one long day.

It was finally lunch, the meeting was called and everyone was situated in the conference room. Gabriel strode in with a smile and then thanked everyone for coming. He began talking about the company and how lately everyone had been working very hard and that they had accomplished a great job of acquiring a very good client. Julia nodded and smiled. He was a good boss for doing that, some bosses would just never even talk to their employees or even thank them for what they were doing. The thing is what would be a company without its people its workers, it would be nothing. After his speech a bright smile lit up his face and then he looked around at everyone. For being such wonderful, hardworking employees I am pleased to announce that in honor of our 15th Anniversary as a company we would be holding a gala event to celebrate both our workers, and the work they have done to make us the proud company we are today. Everyone applauded.
The atmosphere was one of camaraderie and happiness and who wouldn’t be after they had just been given an invitation to a grand party. Gabriel looked at everyone and smiled. His eyes found hers and Julia blushed. After the conference room had been cleared Julia stood up and waited as he finished talking to one of the employees. She had not gotten lunch yet and she knew from her experience that he had not either. When he finished he smiled and started to walk towards her. “Gabi!” someone called. His head spun towards the voice. Julia looked around and then her eyes landed on the petite blonde. “Gabi Baby I missed you, where have you been!” she cried and ran to him her arms encircling him. Before Gabriel could even flinch she was tiptoeing up and had his lips to hers in no time. Julia’s eyes contracted. Her feet led her up and she had excused herself.
