It's now been two months since Courtney and Spencer buried their sister.

Spencer went to the hospital in Georgia to get the tests done that night, while J.J. waited in the waiting room. She called her mother and told her what was going on and that they may need to stay for a few extra days. Sandy told her not to worry about the boys, they were fine.

J.J. made her way to the waiting room and sat down to wait for Spencer to finish the tests. The events of the last seventy two hours came back into her head, starting with the moments after she and Spencer knocked on the door of Tobias Hankel's house.

J.J. knocked on the door, it opened a few seconds later and a man stood there. He looked to be in his thirties with dark brown hair and bearded face.

"Hi, Tobias Hankel?" J.J. said.

"Yeah," the man replied.

"I'm Jennifer Jareau and this is Doctor Spencer Reid, we're from the FBI."

"FBI?" Tobias questioned.

"Yeah, there was a report that you got attacked, you were walking your dog" J.J. recalled pieces of the story.

The man replied, "no I don't have a dog."

"Oh, okay, well sorry to bother you, sir" J.J. said. J.J. knew that something was off, you wouldn't report an incident and then deny that it happened later when police questioned it.

"Goodnight" he said to us.

"Goodnight" J.J. said.

He shut the door behind him.

Spencer and J.J. walked down the steps of the house. "Well that was odd, why report it if you were just going to deny it later?" J.J. questioned.

They stood there in front of the house for a minute as Spencer thought. He realized that J.J. was right and walked over to the window of Tobias Hankel's house and looked inside. It was a room crowded with computers. This is exactly what the team had profiled they would see when they found the unsub. It was him. Tobias Hankel is the killer they were looking for.

Spencer saw a blur as Tobias Hankel ran into the barn behind the house.

J.J. waited for Spencer to come back at the front of the house. "J.J.!" She heard him whisper from the side of the house. "J.J.! Get back here!"

J.J. ran back to where Spencer was standing. "It's him! He's the unsub. He's in the barn, come on." He took her hand as they ran towards the barn door. They both took their guns out, drawing them towards the door.

"Are you sure it's him?" J.J. asked.

"Of course I'm sure it's him. Do you think I would have my gun out if I wasn't?" Spencer told her.

"What do we do?" J.J. asked. Neither one of them had ever chased an unsub on their own before. They needed backup, they needed to call the rest of the team.

"Call Hotch, tell him we found the unsub. We can just wait him out" Spencer suggested.

"Reid, we are in the middle of nowhere. We have no cell service." J.J. reminded him.

"Right. Of course." Spencer said "You check the barn and I'll go around back. Hotch knows that we're here and he'll come looking for us." Spencer started around the back of the barn.
