'Mom just left, heading over soon'. I send to Mike. I tuck a few bits of hair behind my ears and make some last minute touches before leaving. I wanna look perfect for Vic this weekend, where he's away from distractions and I can make all eyes on me. I'm definitely pulling things over on him... many things. Just thinking about the weekend makes me wanna jump up and down. I swing my duffel-bag over my shoulder and rush out the door locking it behind me.

I whip around the corner and butterflies flutter in my stomach, I can't screw this up. This entire weekend has to be perfect. This relationship is up to me right now, and with Jenna's kind... possibly true words I'm hopefully in the right direction. This year was supposed to be about school but it's become my constant mission to get Vic into me. I don't think I'll rest until he is. I don't even know if I want anything other than fun with him, at the moment I'm solely running off lust. His good looks just keep me from backing off. Their street however again catches me in awe.

I pause at the door, my hand extended hanging in mid air. Here we go I think to myself. A small smile slips onto my face and I eventually take my arm out of its misery and knock. I hear running and the door flies open revealing Mike's wide grin, total excitement radiating off him.

"Hi." I say smiling.

"MIKE WHO IS THAT?" Vic yells from... somewhere.

"Get your ass in here." Mike says hurrying me inside.

I plop my bag down and shove off my shoes. "Aren't you gonna answer him?" I ask.

"Nah." He replies shaking his head. "Come on, I'm staving let's make food."

I follow him to the kitchen and hear someone rushing down stairs. "Dammit Mike I asked who that wa- Kellin!?" He asks stopping mid step but the momentum makes him stumble down the last few steps.

"Vic." I acknowledge, turning back to raid the fridge.

"Mike." Vic says warningly. "What the fuck is he doing here?"

"Relax." I say, beating Mike to the punch.

"Kellin, shut up." He says harshly. I look at him in shock but he doesn't ease up, or even look at me. He just shoots a look of daggers at Mike.

"Vic take a chill pill. He's not staying long." Mike lies, continuing to search for food.

"Then why the fuck is there a bag at the front door." Vic mentions. I'm surprised he even noticed.

"Oh no, you caught me." He says sarcastically. "I'm having a friend over. Nooo let's call the cops." He adds, stopping the shuffling in the cabinet and facing him.

"Mike! You know we're supposed to be alone this weekend. I'm not taking the fall if you two get caught."

"So you won't tell!?" I ask, perking up excitedly. He looks at me for a split second but looks right back to Mike ignoring my question. I have to admit, it hurts how after that kiss he's been all rude to me. I mean, we were actually becoming... a weird version of friends, and I think I ruined that. Maybe I should stop pulling shit on him.... NAAAAH.

"Seriously? You're getting in a hissy-fit because I invited a friend over, so that the two of us wouldn't be bored...?" Mike says stepping closer to his brother.

"I'm not having a hissy-fit." He says defensively, also taking a step forward. This isn't gonna turn out well...

"It isn't? Are you positive? Because it sure sounds like one." Mike says poking Vic in the chest.

"I said." Vic repeats not sounding at all impressed. "I'm not having a hissy-fit." He continues, slowly pronouncing each word. I can feel their tempers raising and to be honest, I was starting to get worried a fist fight would break out.
