Monday morning seemed to come too quickly, hitting Zayn's previously good mood like a train.
Harry had to wake him up, not leaving the room to go brush his teeth until Zayn was actually sitting up.
Zayn sighed heavily, rubbing his eyes and slowly getting to his feet.
It was then that he realized how dry his mouth was, shuffling to the kitchen in a post-sleep daze and not stopping until he found something to drink.
"Did you run into Wolverine at the beach?" Zayn heard someone chuckle, making him flinch and turn to see Niall, Liam, and Louis having breakfast.
Well, actually at the moment they were all staring at him.
"What?" He frowned.
"Your back." Liam clarified.
"Oh." Zayn said, not amused.
It was too early.
"From the looks of it you two never left the hotel room." Louis commented.
"We didn't." Zayn lied, making Liam and Louis chuckle.
Niall was too busy eating and studying something on his phone.
"Seriously? The whole weekend?" Liam asked.
"Hey, that's my business." Zayn smiled. "Don't bring it up around Harry either." He added, more serious now.
He knew it would probably make Harry uncomfortable if they talked about it.
Plus, Zayn wanted that weekend to stay between him and Harry, it was more special that way.
"Why? Are we going to hear a different story?" Louis smirked.
"Like what?" Zayn challenged.
All Louis did was laugh, earning a stare from Zayn.
Harry came in next, yawning and sinking down into the chair across from Niall.
Louis immediately noticed the marks on his neck, practically twitching because he was trying not to comment.
"We can be early." Liam decided, getting up and tapping Louis' shoulder so he would follow.
"Can we go somewhere other than class? I hate sitting in there longer than I have to." Louis immediately complained.
"Yes, the point is we're leaving, big mouth." Liam said.
"You never seemed to mind that my mouth is big." Louis muttered as he got up.
"Yeah you never heard my complaint because you were too busy talking." Liam muttered right back to him.
"Guess you should just speak up, then. Take charge. At least for a once, sweetie." Louis teased, patting Liam's cheek before they started to make their way out of the kitchen. "It might be exciting."
"What would be exciting is you actually not talking for once." Liam said.
"I won't ever stop talking but you know I'll gladly stop talking to you." Louis said, stopping to give him a look.
"Start now, please." Liam said, stopping as well since Louis was blocking his path.
They just stared at each other, worrying Harry and Niall, who were paying attention now.
Zayn didn't care, busy digging into a box of cereal and eating his favorite pieces before anyone noticed.
Liam was the one to barely crack a smile first, which led to Louis' sudden laughter.
