"Oh, you're back." Liam said as Zayn entered the apartment.

"Yeah, is your friend gone?" Zayn asked.

"He left hours ago." Liam said, his eyes focused on the video game he was playing.

"Good. Let's talk." Zayn said, sitting in the armchair next to the couch.

"About what?"

"You and Louis."

Liam paused the game, looking at him. "There is no me and Louis. He's crazy."

"How?" Zayn decided to ask, wanting to hear what Liam would say.

"You've heard him when we fight. You heard what he said and saw how he acted talking about moving in together. He was completely different when we first started fooling around. He was cool about everything now he's all...dramatic." Liam explained.

"Why do you think that is?" Zayn asked.

"Because he's insane." Liam scoffed.

"Or maybe he really cares about you." Zayn suggested.

"I think all of this is new to him and maybe he doesn't know how to handle his feelings. Plus you're no help, pushing him away and calling him a psycho. I get it that you're annoyed and frustrated but...be patient with him. Try to stay calm." Zayn said.

"I don't want to, though. I'm done." Liam said. "I really don't want to pursue anything with him, serious or a fling."

"Why not?" Zayn asked skeptically.

"Too much effort emotionally. He drains me with all of his....obsessiveness."

"Well that's just lately, isn't it?" Zayn asked.

Liam eventually nodded.

"Maybe if he knew how you really felt about him he wouldn't have to act so....the way he does. Be real with him and put everything out in the open so he can know and react properly instead of what he's doing now."

"I was real with him last night." Liam said.

"I don't think you were. Liam you know you can tell me the truth. Do you really want nothing to do with him? Do you really think he's crazy?" Zayn asked.

Liam got quiet.

"I mean it kind of seems like you've been distancing yourself from him lately." Zayn admitted.

"I don't know how I feel, okay? That's why I need him to back off while I figure it out." Liam said.

"Figure it out by sleeping with another guy?" Zayn asked.

"We didn't have sex we just made out." Liam said. "This isn't about that, I meant figure it out by being alone."

"Louis doesn't understand that and he won't leave me alone."

"Have you explained it to him?"

"I can't. He won't shut up or he doesn't get it. I don't think it's worth it." Liam said, back to playing his game now.

"Whatever you decide you need to tell him or he'll really never leave you alone." Zayn said.

"Fine. I'll tell him now." Liam said, getting his phone.

Zayn watched as he began to text.

"What are you telling him?" Zayn dared to asked.
