Chapter 01

Chapter I : The Dream

Katleia's POV

IT was already late when I got home. As soon as I arrived, I slammed my whole damn body on my bed and was ready to go to dreamland.

Today, my energy was drained by the things you wouldn't want to know. And seriously, I'm so sick of it.

Napabaling ang tingin ko sa labas ng bintana. Nagmistulang mga dyamante ang mga bituin, ang ganda lang talaga tignan kasi sobrang dilim ng kalangitan.

Then I realized, darkness is much prettier than what I imagined when I was young and because of that I'm starting to like it. Pero ang higit na nagugustuhan ko sa pagsapit ng gabi ay ang malamig na simoy ng hanging yumayakap sa'kin, because with that I feel comfort.

Pinikit ko na ang mga mata ko para matulog. Mabilis din akong nakatulog dala na rin ng sobrang pagod at puyat, this is a not so good day for me I guess. I don't want to have this kind of life.

Pictures began to show as I fell deep into sleep. But one thing is for sure.

'Not all dreams are worth it, sometimes it doesn't lead to any point, in other words useless. and that makes it worse. Sometimes it hunts you every time you want peace. it just makes you shiver when you think of the idea of not waking up again, and that is what a total nightmare is.'

"Huwag mo 'kong lalapitan! Huwag mo 'kong lalapitan! Hindi! You're not gonna win against me."

Napabangon ako sa aking higaan sa di kapani-paniwalang bangungot. Pawis na pawis ako na tila ba tumakbo ako dahil may humahabol sakin. Hindi ko alam kung anong nakita ko pero sigurado akong masama 'yon.

I went down the kitchen to grab some glass of water for me to calm down. This isn't good, naging sunod-sunod na 'to.

Walang pinagbago, parati na lang ganito ang nangyayari.

Gusto ko sanang bumalik sa pagtulog kaya lang naisip ko, bakit pa nga ba ako matutulog? Eh sa bawat pagpikit ko, sinusundan ako ng mga bangungot na to.

May mamamatay na naman.

Lumabas na nga ako para uminom ng tubig pero parang wala pa rin epekto sa'kin. Nanginginig pa rin ako.

At bigla na lang akong nagulat nang sa di inaasahan ay nagring ang phone ko.

"Gosh Ate Heiys, are you okay?"

Ito nga pala si Kylie Rhain Stone, kapatid kong kakauwi lang galing States. 10 years silang namalagi doon ni mommy kaya medyo maarte at hindi marunong magtagalog.

"Yes! of course I'm fine, bakit naman ako hindi magiging okay? But first, bakit ka tumawag ng ganitong oras? Malalim na ang gabi, Rhain."

"You don't care ate. I called to ask you if the news I heard is true. So, is it true?"

"News? What news?"

"Oh come on, ate. I heard you broke up with him."

"Who's him ba?"

"Lionel of course, duh!"

"You know we aren't together Rhain so paano kami maghihiwalay eh wala nga kaming relasyon? We're merely just best friends and according to him pa 'more than friends but less than lovers' lang kami. But I won't deny the fact that I got a thing for him."
