We tried to dodge the paps and reporters but it was no use. I just gave in and let one interview us. "Chris are you excited about the album?" She asked.
"Super excited man.." I told her. "I do it all for Team Breezy.."
"What about this beauty on your arm?" She asked referring to Leeyah. "If I'm not mistaken, you're the daughter of Shamar and Selene Moore?"
"Yes I am.." Leeyah smile.
"Laya right?"
"Leeyah.." She corrected.
"How do you feel about your boyfriend's success?"
"I'm happy for him. He's doing what he loves and he's great at it!" She lifted her left hand to move the hair from her face and I knew the questions that were coming next.
"Oh my gosh, that ring is beautiful!" She said with wide eyes. "When did you two get married?"
"We aren't married yet and we haven't set a date.." I told her.
"Congratulations on the engagement! I wish you two lots of love and happiness in your future!" We thanked her and took more picture before going inside. The party was live already but I was more focused on Leelee.
"You look beautiful.." I said into her ear. "The baby really giving you that extra glow."
"You look handsome too baby.." She smiled up at me. "I can't drink tonight and turn up like I wanna so before you get too fucked up I want you to know that I'm very proud of you and your success.."
"Thank you baby, I really appreciate that especially coming from you.." I grabbed her hand and led her into my private section where the crew along with some of the people I've gotten close with in then industry.
Tonight should be a good night..

Chris' album release party was hype. Everybody that was anybody were in here and I was right there in the mix. I'd had a few drinks myself and everybody around me was turnt up besides Leeyah. I know it wasn't my business but I wanted to know.
"You okay?" I asked through the loud music.
"What?" She yelled back. I got closer so that she could hear me better.
"I asked were you okay, I haven't seen a drink in your hand all night.."
"Oh I'm fine, thanks for asking. I don't drink." She smiled and I knew something was up. It wasn't my business so I just left it at that.
The rest of the night was a blur. I got fucked up to the max but somehow I still managed to get out of there without passing out.

Chris was out like a light from all the turning up he did last night. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth, and take a quick shower.
When I got out the bathroom, I cleaned up our room and packed up our suitcase. Today was the day either all hell broke loose or didn't. Maybe my parents would be happy about having a grandchild but then again, maybe not..
"Chris.." I shook him to wake him from his slumber.
"C'mon Lee, stop yelling.." He groaned.
"I'm not yelling babe, you have a really bad hangover.." He sat up against the headboard and blocked the light from his eyes. "Here, drink this Ginger Ale so you don't start throwing up everywhere.." I said after closing the curtains.
"Thanks for taking care of me.."
"No problem babe.." I smiled. "I'm going cook you some breakfast right quick.." I went off to cook him and everyone else some breakfast. While the stove was heating up, I grabbed some ginger tea and gave it to the rest of the crew.
By the time I was done cooking, they were all out their rooms and waiting for me to finish. "You guys suck!" I said while flipping the last piece of bacon.
"Chill with the yelling Lee.." Ty said.
"I'm not yelling, y'all hoes just hung the fuck over!" I told them. "Get up and come fix y'all own damn plates, my name ain't Molly the Maid!"
"Fuck yo hung over ass!" I laughed. "I'm going check on Chris.." I grabbed the plate I fixed for him and went up to our room. He was in the same place I left him in, still sipping on the Ginger Ale.
"I'm never doing that shit again.." He told me. "I feel like shit."
"Yeah I bet yo ass ain't!" I said giving him his plate. "Eat up and go take a shower, I'm going finish packing our suitcase.."
"Suitcase for what?"
"We're flying out to NY for a few days.." I told him. "Don't tell me you forgot!"
"It just slipped my mind a little.." He lied.
"So you basically forgot.." I crossed my arms. "We still have to go so hurry up and finish so we can leave please?" He nodded and did as I asked. I only planned to stay for three days at the most but I packed for a week just in case.

"You called your mom yet?" I asked Chris.
"Yeah she said she'll be at the dinner in a few. What ya moms say?"
"She said her and my dad are on their way there now so we can drop off our stuff at my house then head out.." He nodded as we pulled off from the airport in a cab. I told the driver my address and we were on our way.
Chris and I unloaded our stuff into the house while the cab waited to take us to see our parents for the first time since Christmas. The sun was about to set and the cold air was in full effect.
I sat in the cab shaking, not from the cold winter air but from what's next to come. "Everything is gonna be okay, promise.." He grabbed my and and interlocked our fingers.
We showed up to the restaurant a lot quicker than I thought we would. For some reason NY traffic was at an all time low tonight. When our parents saw us, they smiled hard.
