"How's motherhood?" I finally made time to pay Leeyah and the twins a visit. They look just like her and Chris.
"I love it. They are my world.." She smiled. "I still can't believe I'm a mother.."
"Me either!" I giggled. "How does Chris like fatherhood?"
"Well I would tell you ask him yourself but he's in Atlanta right now.." She sighed.
"You okay with that?"
"No but I can't tell him that. I can't tell him not to do what makes him happy just to make myself happy.."
"Yeah but he doesn't need to go on tour right now. I just don't like it.." I shrugged. "Nothing is wrong with him taking time off to make sure than you and the kids are okay."
"You right but I just don't wanna be selfish about it.." She pouted. "He's been gone for two days already but when he gets back tomorrow we'll talk about it.."
"Good.." I smiled. "Besides that, how is everything else?"
"Well he got us a house.." She was now smiling from ear to ear. "I haven't seen it yet but we're moving into it next week.."
I'm happy for Leeyah, I really am. I just hope his success doesn't fuck up their relationship.

We're finally moving into our new house today. All of our personal stuff was already packed up and being transported to the new house.
I was excited and nervous. I couldn't wait to see it for the first time but what if it wasn't something I liked? What if Chris had the house set up the way only he liked. Either way I'd be grateful but still I was worried.
"Leelee.." Chris said snapping me our of my thoughts.
"Hm?"
"You ready?" I nodded my and walked out the house with Chris on my trail. He locked the door behind us then picked up the twins carseats.
They were up and alert now; playing and laughing. They were like little slices of heaven to me; pure perfection. Seeing them look up at me and smile did something to me every time and they knew it.
