"Aye Chris, Lee good?" I asked, sitting down next to him on the sofa.
"Ask her.." He said with an attitude.
"I'm asking you.." I matched his attitude.
"Don't start man.." He rolled his eyes. "I'm not up for arguing with someone else right now.."
"Chris what's going on? Both of y'all have an attitude with the world, why?"
"She's pregnant!" He blurted out.
"Oh my gosh, that's great!" I was gonna be an aunt.
"If you say so.." He wasn't happy.
"Why aren't you happy about this?"
"I am but I don't know.." He sighed. "I don't wanna go through the same bullshit I went through before.."
"That shit with Nicole?" He nodded. "Leeyah isn't Nicole, she won't do you dirty. You need to go talk to her now!"
"She's not gonna talk to me.." He put his head down. "I'm always fucking shit up with her!"
"Now!" I snapped and went to do as I said. "You asked the damn girl to marry you then you go acting crazy!"

I walked in the backyard to find Leeyah sitting down staring out at the sky. The stars were shining bright and she seemed to be calm but I needed to talk to her.
I sat down next to her and looked out into the sky for a few seconds. "Can we talk?" She nodded. "I'm sorry about how I acted earlier.."
"You should be.." She finally spoke. "Do you not want this baby or something?" She was now looking dead at me. "I understand this wasn't something we planned but still."
