As lovely as a rose

The coming days at university were really hectic. Exams were near and everyone was busy. Hilal and Leon has not seen each other for 2 or 3 days until Ms. Esra called them both to her room. Leon knocked and entered the room to see Hilal sitting in front of Esra. 'Come inside Leonidas. Come sit', her smile was really charming. Esra was the teacher of drama and dramatics. She was a woman of 50 years but she never looked like one. High maintenance, strict diet, well-formed routine always kept her young and fit. Leon walked inside and sat beside Hilal. 'I've seen the photos that you two shot for the upcoming university magazine. Those are brilliant. I was absolutely right to choose you both for the shoot. The pictures are already here and these are the spare ones that you might keep,' she put 2 pictures on the table for them to take. 'The others would be published in the magazine,' she continued. Hilal and Leon took the pictures in their hands and their bodies shivered. The pictures were so beautiful and both could feel the love emitting from the pictures. 

'How beautiful she looks!', Leon thought, with a smile on his face. 'How charming Leon is!' Hilal was shy when she thought about it. They were both immersed in their own thoughts and didn't hear a single word what Esra was telling. '..... i had fixed two students for this from my department but....' Esra's words were fading out. Hilal had her eyes fixed on Leon's handsome image and Leon's eyes were on his dream girl's picture. They were smiling yet cautiously not to get caught in anyone's eyes. 'Did you get my point both of you?' Esra's words fell like a bomb to their trances. 'Huh what?' Leon was baffled. 'I was telling both of you to join the photography club. You two are very photogenic. The club will get two talented models', Esra laughed and they joined too. 'Now off you go. I have a class now. Thank you for agreeing to do the photo shoot in such a short notice,' Esra stood up to join her class and three of them left the room together. 

'It's quite strange why she chose us for this photo shoot. Like there were students from her department she could choose from but...' Hilal started talking. 'Maybe she found us both fit, both...nice.. together,' these words came out slowly from Leon's mouth. They were walking in the middle of the garden of their university and suddenly Hilal saw a beautiful bloomed rose. 'Look over there Leon,' and she went hurrying to the beautiful piece of flower. She smelt it fragrance and her body shivered. 'This is so lovely', she said gleefully. 'And so are you,' the man-in-love could not resist praising his dream girl. Hilal stood still for a moment as joy spilled from her entire body. 'Is this real? Did my crush actually call me lovely?' she groped inside her mind. She looked back at Leon and saw him smiling sweeter than ever. Hilal smiled back and both of them were flowing in endearment. 'I need to go i have a class', Hilal wanted to flee from there as she was getting pink under excitement and shyness. She walked passed Leon and walked to the university building. Leon looked amazed till she disappeared into the building. He smiled and smiled as the atmosphere turned dramatic in love.
